so what i listened and understood by your lecture sir these are the conditions: 1 - to make it clear on the web or app that the product you're selling are not in your possession and are being supplied by a third party aka different supplier 2- Have a contract with a delivery company to take the products from the supplier and deliver it to the customer and if by chance any mishaps occur during delivery the customer should be given full refund of cash or something of equal value by that date. 3- give the exact date of delivery like 25 may-29 may(Correct me if its only one day date or can it be multiple days e.g is it only 25 may or can it be 25 may -29 may 4-Have full payment in advance from the customer (don't break it in half first and second) 5- The product that you're selling to the customer , he should be told every aspect of the product(weight,measure,delivery date etc). @@Tixypool1 so to explain it thoroughly you can make a contract with a delivery company like fedEx or any other and tell them to take product directly from The seller and ship them to the customer and on how to contact them just go to their office and explain it to them whatever condition they put check them and make a agreement and the person who's selling the product tell him that we'll pick the product you don't need to deliver it and that's how you can also save the delivery fee 👍

Why we need to have a possession of the product, before sending to customer. We are giving 30 days return policy. So, customer is money is save no matter, what the issue with the product

No, you also must possess the goods before delivering to the customer. The part you mentioned only solves the issue of not “owning” the goods being sold. You must own & possess them.

@@Ibrahim-ld9gf that’s what I was thinking too. Even the example he used how back in days of our beloved prophet Muhammad (PBUH) how ppl would order dates 2-3 years in advanced with a given date. It solves that “owning” part but they still don’t have possession of it. Which you need not just the owning part but also the possession. Unless he means (owning or possession) not owing and possession?

not the same, 1. you disclose that do not poses the good 2. you dont sent directly from suppier to customer you posession with salem method and they sent to customer, that make it not drop shipping, and you have the responsibility, you have seen the product/touched it from your warehouse you ship that is the difference.

@@luizgustafo5902 i guess so, not an expert but basically what we need to do to make it Halal is that we need to put extra steps/time/effort, if we get the items to our house then check each product and re-ship from home to area with in country/export then it will definitely add some credibility, or we get hold if a supplier for large orders and give specification and then get things customize and check samples and then direct ship then fine i feel, also taking responsibility for the return/damage/delivery time etc... personally will add that additional step, in simple term we cannot do drop shipping like non Muslims do, we need to go back to traditional way of buying and selling with modern tech/methods, things will be slow but stable and you will have a good business, where as nowadays people want get rich quick methods, that is where the problem comes.

List all the items with proper descriptions and delivery range time. 3. Accept Payment. Rent a private shipping company service, lets call it 'ABC'. Tell supplier to ship item to ABC. (Now I own the product)....and finally ship item from ABC to the customer. Pricing of the products should be ajusted because i'll be adding another middleman, basically. Is there something I missed?

It does not matter. You need to own and posses the goods.

@@---ct5tm yeah but at that point why even mention you dont own the product and instead buy a warehouse and do the selling like a normal company would . the other issue that i have is that the second rule basically says you can ignore the first rule as long as the condition of the second rule are met yet they say you also have to fullfill the first rule, idk Allahu a'alam but im struggling to understand what these scholars are saying . especially when legaly when you press buy on something online that thing becomes yours , so in a way you have possession of it .
