Hey Dan your info is great love your videos. I have a question about my goals? Iam a 46 year old man who spent most of my career painting cars in the auto body industry. I don’t have any energy to continue doing the job because it’s very strenuous. And there is also a big corporation taking over the industry. I like making KZbin videos and editing but don’t have enough experience to make a living off of that. Any advice for me. Additionally, practicing Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA) into a reputable ETF could be beneficial. It's crucial to prioritize patience and maintain a long-term perspective. Most importantly, seek financial advice to make informed buying and selling decisions.

I struggled wirh that for a while. Here's what has worked for me: 1. Don't rush in. Wait for an opportunity, the kind that is so good you want to share wirh others you care about. This means sitting on your hands for 6 months or even a year. 2. Plan your exist when you invest, not laterr. If you wait it out without an exit plan, you won't be able to exit at the right time. You need to calculate what the stock will be worth it in the future and put a hard number on it and leave when you hit that number, because later you won't have clarity of mind. GL

100% correct. I take notes from every video. I find it odd that people will spend their entire lives doing something they don't want to do, being told what to do, and then excape that life of desperation by watching tv for 3+ hours a night. If they spent that time learning, developing skillsets, and then executing and taking action on that, they could live a life on their terms instead of someone elses. Even a low-level skill like getting a weekend/evening job cleaning offices. Do that for a month or two and learn everything about it. Equipment, products, techniques, how they get clients, how much they charge, billing, advertising, etc. Take your 2 month salary and start taking on clients and scale from there. I didn't mean to run off on your post, but the psychology behind this is interesting. People spend more time trying to escape their lives than actually taking action and living a better one.

Maybe that’s because it works? But I’m not disagreeing if you’re implying it’s not that easy. There are so many pieces to the puzzle that aren’t mentioned here. For example: Yes, some people can learn a high dollar skill in a month, at least enough to fake it and learn on the job. But not everyone is capable of that. Also, not everyone is a natural communicator, one of the most important skills (maybe the most important) when it comes to making money. It could take some people a year or even years to learn to communicate effectively. In short, a combination of work ethic, communication skills, intelligence, and luck is going to be required to make a million in a year. Sure, some can do it, but the average person hasn’t put in the years and decades it’ll take them to build the necessary foundation.

You want to know how to really get "rich" in a non-glamourous way but it actually works? Work fulltime and instead of spending time off work on enternainment and other bullshit, work on learning some skill and dedicate yourself to that skill. Get good enough and confident enough so that someone is gonna start paying for your expertice. And it's gonna be boring until it's not, it's gonna take time but with enough perserverance it's gonna get fun and even if you don't get extremely "rich" your atleast gonna have enough skill to end up in a really high paying position or best case be your own boss, no matter which, you're still gonna get payed. This is The long hard reality but people keep falling for "get rich quick schemes". Also by working while learning on The Sides you'll be able to put some money on furthering your skills by being able to afford various important certificates etc.
