I am soooo happy that my honesty is helpful (cuz sometimes being honest can feel very vulnerable lol)! And that it is helping you! Please if you have any questions DO NOT hesitate to ask!

Howdy! =) excellent video! How can one get funding for a Phd in Culture and Performance? How does one get funding for a PhD in humanities? How does one find these funding opportunities?

Hi! So this is a great question that requires many many answers. I do have a grad funding playlist that answers most of them (here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gH20oZlnar-doqc&pp=gAQB) but if you go through there and still have more questions please let me know!!!

Brisa, I would like to know what entails in the PhD transcripts, do they add up all the grades of courses and viva or they are displayed in a different method? Also, was your research quantitative, qualitative, or mixed methods?

Hi! So yes every program has different requirements but generally all your classes that are for a letter grade will be tallied into your GPA, your pass/fail grades do not impact your GPA but are still recorded on transcripts and their credit is included. (But they do not negatively impact your GPA at all) Phd Exams/language are not usually factored into the gpa... the function more like pass or fail course but they are recorded to track your progress. The transcript also denotes the dates you pass your phd exams and when you become a phd cadidate... and then also when your graduate your final degree. If you get a masters in the process of earning a phd, that is also included on your transcripts :) My research is all qualitative... well there was like two paragraphs of statistics lol but I just referenced a study I didn't collect that data :)

@BrisaMarie thank you for the information. My master's research was 100% qualitative, but my intended PhD research will be mixed method, so I have been honing my advanced statistics skills, which I found a bit complicated.

@jhamdan2012 that's amazing! I can imagine that there is definitely a learning curve. But how inspiring to venture into a new avenue for your research. Please let me know how your quantitative work goes!!
