Being under capitalized is biggest root cause of business collapse. Know the difference between a good bookkeeper and an accountant. I often hired accountants thinking that all my bookkeeping needs would be met. Many accountants focus only on tax liability. This can leave you flying by the seat of your pants, making decisions based on feelings about how you are doing. Keep accurate records. These records should be the basis on decision making.
