Yo man, this is actually one of the best and most simple explanations of feel I've ever come across. It sums up something that is intangible and truly can only be 'felt' into something meaningful and informative. Now I know why sometimes I can hear that I'm not totally in it, and as a bass player I'm defo going to take these words to heart. Always loved the channel so keep it up dude!

this is such a good point. I got no chops but I feel every minute of it. I've never heard the concept articulated until now.. but you framed it so well. I see guys MUCH better than me and often think to myself "I could make a better song tho".. and I constantly put myself down and try and try to hit the mark (which chop drummers hit with ease), but I always feel like I can't compete with them, while at the same time.. I am able to make a better song than them because I feel every hit. damn. I wanna go play drums now hahaha

Hi Zack, My name is Clarence, I'm from Québec Canada and I stubbled across your channel some time ago. I really like your content. I don't know if you will read this, but here I go anyway: Recently I watched your attempt at metal (metalcore and djent) and I thought you should try another style, something out of your confort zone, but less heavy: afro-cuban! I'd like to see you try this music. And it so happens that I knew a thing or two about it, because I played many gigs like that in the past (my experience in that music is from these gigs). So I could maybe give you a few tips if that type of challenge sounds interesting to you. Wishing you plenty of success... Clarence
