Sup Fizz! Nice speed ! And going for sub 3 is awesome.question why does this sport seem to take so so long get better at? I started running in my early 30s I’m 39 now and I’m still trying break sub 1 40 half I think I got potential now. And hopefully by 2025 I can shoot for sub 3 30 full marathon, but my god I feel like it’s been hell for me, maybe it’s genetics and bec I’m 185 lbs. I am getting faster though did 15 miler recently at 8 min pace so maybe I can shoot for 1 40 half next month
@gaul84910 ай бұрын
Slowing your tempo is possible to maintain speed if you look at elite runners they do this.
@Fizz_Runner10 ай бұрын
Tempo meaning cadence? If so most runners need to pick their cadence up. But yeah elite runners make it look gracefully as their stride length is so long.

Not bad upper body form but you're not running from the hips, don't have the techqniue nor strength in the hips yet at that pace so you're overstriding to the max. More heel strike than a bowling alley lol think knee over toes, never throw your feet out with a straight leg or you can get injured
