Vanessa could have dark plastic film put on the walls of the rage cage which would create the illusion of solid walls that can’t be escaped from. It would define the limits of how far the cat can go before running into a solid barrier.

I have two similar large long haired cats called Ragdolls. From a kitten, I regularly brushed them even if they didn’t need it. I knew as they grew big, I wouldn’t want to be in a battle with them. They are now six years old, very large cats and love to be brushed. Training animals is not only good for them, but also good for the owner.

Maine coon cats really do have to be groomed regularly. That’s part of the deal with owning one. Not everyone has to be IN LOVE with cats to groom them, but Vanessa obviously has the best rapport possible in her situation. She takes on animals that no other groomers will many times! You could put some window tint on the rage cage. They have some affordable kits that you just spray a little soapy water on, lay it on, and smooth out the air bubbles.

Yeah and you can also get all kinds of decorative films you can attach without a whole lot of effort and no glue etc. is required. You get tired of one pattern, just peel it off and put a different(stained glass, my favorite) one on.

A quick, easy, simple, and inexpensive solution for your Rage Cage problem: Simply cover the plexiglass "windows" in the Rage Cage with opaque kitchen shelf & drawer lining paper / plastic, the kind that has adhesive on the other side, to make it stick in place. You could even put it on the OUTSIDE of the plexiglass, so that hysterical cats don't scratch through it. That should help to remind the cats that "*this* way is NOT an exit, even though it looks like one". Or you can simply paint them over, with whatever paint you have handy.

Forget the dog grooming video’s, as I just love seeing Vanessa grooming cats. The fact that she grooms cat’s tells me she loves them enough to put forth the effort. Besides her sarcastic nature cracks me up. And she is one of the best at grooming cat’s, especially since she cares for the cat’s safety as well as her own. Other groomers I have seen, just near beat the cat they are grooming to death as unlike Vanessa they didn’t know how to handle a cat.

They make me laugh too, probably because of the looks of pure disdain and disgust. Along with all the "Go fluff yourself" looks. Honestly, I think cats are so cross with us so often because they're nature's apex predator, but because most of them weigh only 3-6 kg and they're so cute and furry, we pick them up and cuddle them instead of fearing them.
