I highly recommend playing this video at 1.25× speed. Despite the $hitty slight pitch shift and tape drag sound (because KZbin video and audio software is complete $h!t), the tempo increase REALLY pulls the Metallica feel and sound into the foreground....VERY VERY MUCH! Shotgun...And Justice For All

make no mistake...redoing all their 90s records in the tone of 86 metallica would be absolute ear candy. it was by far the heaviest, cleanest and most eq balanced sound the band has ever produced & flemming rasmussen hit gold on that one. the sludgy shit kicker tone of load, reload, & s/m + whatever the hell they were thinking on st anger was weak sauce in comparison.

Sweet recreation of James’ gravely baritone voice. Even more impressive is getting the backing vocal parts to replicate the awesomeness of Jason Newsted….. In reversing this, it would be amazing to hear Leper Messiah in the style of Type O Negative.

I love what you did with this song/style, I clicked on it imagining some faster Metallica with the already punky speed of the original, but I was surprised to hear it in a completely different way! Really unique take that has a Black Album deep cut sound and the main riff reminds me a lot of the viking punk band Ultima Thule (highly recommend listening to the A Collection of Raven Tales compilation if you've never heard them, underrated band!)

This was really creative how you captured metallicas style doing white wedding a classic Billy idol tune. The lead sounded like Kirk Hammett. Yeah, I think the relation and jokes with Kirk and wah pedal are way too overrated. He did plenty of solos without using wah. I mean, he "can't live" without it nowadays lol, but that doesn't mean it's mandatory to use wah when making Metallica related content 😁
