Okay so- I made this because I’m obsessed with watching these right now but anyways- Don’t be too mad at William. He gave up hope in Michael waking up so that’s why he began to have a favorite with children a little. He didn’t want to lose another son as he though he already lost Michael after the 6 years, so he wanted to keep Chris from any interaction with the world as it was ‘dangerous’. He didn’t want Chris to end up like Mike with a group of friends who didn’t care about him at all pretty much. He also just wouldn’t have been able to handle the death of another child.
