Not trying to be offensive or rude, but I believe that the room should incorporate more of her gift. Maybe the walls could be giant painting boards, and she could have a whole wardrobe of painting supplies. She could also have a giant wishlist of what everyone wants, so that maybe, later on, she could start feeling pressured and feel like she has no other purpose but to create things (Just to add some angst ;)). Then, to make her more of a protagonist, she could be the one to re-build the casita by drawing it, with everyone's help ofcourse.
