As Pakistan is all set to host the Shanghai Cooperation Summit (SCO) In Islamabad on October 15 & 16, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar's visit to Pakistan will be the first instance since 2015 amid heightened tensions between the two neighbours.
While both sides have ruled out any formal bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the SCO Summit, Jaishankar is expected to participate in a welcome dinner hosted by Pakistan PM Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday, ahead of the event.

From the past, we know how quickly Nawaz denied another off the camera interview in which Barkha claimed he called Dr Singh “ daheti aurat”. His comments, or lack of comments , are irrelevant today. Nawaz is simply one of the many ex PMs that f Pakistan. Pakistan has to honour its past commitments before India should even think of talking to Pakistan. Let it take action against terrorists and let us the talks focus on return of POK to India
