Ibadan used to be the Oyo Empire garrison camp. And I Adan was only able to assert influence and importance during the Kiriji War which marked the fall of the Oyo empire golden age. The assumption that without Ibadan Army, there wouldn’t be Yoruba, is parochial, bias, overstretched, and disinformation. The premise of Oloye Lekan Alabi’s assertion is invalid.
