One of the best stories I've ever heard on KZbin. Yoruba people say that when you have been born by your mother, it's up to you to reborn yourself. That boy had no self-awareness at all, so most of all that happened to him is his fault. Another pwrson to be blamed is his father, the head of the family who refused to assume his position but stood by mummbing ineffectual words of reprimand while his wife proceeded to raise a weakling. Very well done, dear. I'm subscribing the second i finish typing. Keep 'em coming.

Very good story. Namdi got exactly what he deserved. He had a good woman in Yamisi He let his mother dictate to him, disrespected poor Yamisi. she even sabotaged the food she cooked so she could use that as an excuse for her evil plan, which was to get her away from her son. Even though he knew better he didn’t come to her defense. She succeeded in her plan and broke them up. Then loving possessive mother introduced him to the devil, who absolutely ruined him. That was when Namdi remembered Yamisi. He then had the brazen brass to think that after a year he could just go back to use her like a spare tire. I was elated that Yamisi had moved on with a handsome man. Was I sorry for Naamdi? No I was not. He he let his mother dictate to him and ruin his life, now he could go back to her, a broken man. Good job. Please keep it up. Greetings from USA.

What a powerful and emotional story! Nandi's journey teaches us so much about love, trust, and the consequences of letting others control our lives. It's heartbreaking to see how his mother's overprotectiveness and Adora's deceit led to his downfall, but it's a strong reminder to trust our own hearts and make our own decisions. Thank you for sharing this gripping tale, African Tales! 🌟 #LifeLessons #LoveAndTrust #AfricanStories

Wow this story was a lesson to learn on both sides. Mom!!! You pick until you pick shit. You didn’t even give the first girl a chance. The girl was so nervous trying to prepare a good meal but accidentally a little salt got away in it . What goes around comes around. Now you went for the girl and look how she treats you and your son . You make the poor boy become a manual instead of a real man. This is a lesson for all. Very good story keep it coming.

I call them MBs(mother's boy). Life is tough and one needs to learn to ride the tide as it comes. The majority of we, Africans tend to be independent from birth.. by the age of 10, we know how to sweep, cook and do plenty. My mother never differentiated wheither you were a boy or girl, chores had to be done accordingly. Thank you for this beautiful life lesson story.

I have seen a lot of mothers do this! It’s like they’re son becomes a surrogate mate or something , especially if the the father is late or not there and even as we can see here in this case the father can be in the house but the mother is overbearing! My sister in law did the same mess and now she stuck with a son that is 6 ft. 4”, 33 years old, lazy & unemployed, with no intentions of working!
