That’s how some mothers are. Nothing is wrong with being there for your child, but you have to step aside at times and allow them to make decisions about their life. After all, it’s their life. Good one. Watching from Jamaica 🇯🇲

Thanks for your reflection! If the protagonist had been forced to confront their biggest regret, how do you think it would have shaped their growth and decisions?"

Wow what an amazing story. Well narrated Kudos to you. This is a lesson to all mothers to stay away from their children’s happy home if not they and their sons will face the consequences later.

No suffering doesn't mean you're more of a wife than someone who doesn't suffer. She was bitter and projected that onto others. Thr mother in law planted evil seeds in their marriage. Misery loves company.

I don’t get parents that think because they’re your parent they can come into your marital home and change rules or the way things are done. They can suggest a different way to do things, but to want them to live exactly the way you lived? No.

The mother in law burned down a happy home out of jealousy and cost a young lady so much. I as a woman would remove myself, marry your mother. If you marry me, how I feel matters in me and my partner's home. Not because she is your mother. You made him a monster like his father. She is the undoing of all good. I would take my whole child and be gone. Imagine causing a storm then crying 😂

Some mother in laws are like this
@lkofie6670Ай бұрын
It's sad and unfortunate how some MIL and even SIL can be either jealous or uptight over the son's/brother's wife. Typically I think it's because the son would no longer be as accessible to their family and/or his sisters aren't having a good marriage so why should the DIL be catered to by her own husband who happens to be her son/brother? ... and then don't let the DIL be fit and deemed pretty or attractive... that only brings out the insecurities of the women of that household even more. When he's only being responsible for his own wife/family suddenly she's called names like mami wata behind her back by husband's elder sister and MIL and scrutinized by the women of his family, for how much she's allegedly spending if she shows up to family get togethers in nice clothes, shoes and designer bags and simply dressing in her own style, not considering the fact that she has her own income, not to mention the fact that she's been excluded from the girls' plans and outings for some fun get togethers or even family milestone events.

Hmmm the mother should not have done that she shouldn't have paid evil with evil simply because her husband mistreated her and the son is to be blamed of it will some mother inlaw are wicked they will always humiliate their daughter as if they are trash and some daughter in law can't do anything and the husband is supposed to do something about his mother because I not all mothers we can listen too some may give bad advice and daughter in law are so rude to their mother in law you are the best my sweetie oma bye

I suppose the other son went about his life tending to his mother from a distance because he either didn't want to remain stuck as a victim of their past like his older brother or he didn't want to feel indebted to his mother simply because she was doing her responsibility as a mother....at least that's a reason for real life situations outside this story 😊.
