Good story. Princess deserved everything that happened to her, and even more. Uche adored Princess, nothing was too good for her. Princess on the other hand, didn’t really care for Uche, she was all about the money, and the material things that she got from Uche..When she got married, a shotgun wedding, to Uche, she was not happy about the situation. Eventually after the first miscarriage, she gave birth to triplet sons. She felt really negative about her husband and her poor babies, which she neglected. She left her family, to go and live her life. When things got rough for her she ran back home hoping to reclaim her place as wife and mother, but she was late; there was another wife, who was as pregnant. She got thrown out in tears. She now realise that the grass is not greener on the other side, she could have done what Uche’s new wife did, love her husband, and have his interest at heart. I love the story, and I really enjoyed it. Greetings from USA.

While I understand that she wanted to live her own life, the things that she said in that letter were extremely harsh. Considering the fact that he thought that he was showing her love and appreciation. HOWEVER, he treated her more like a possession than a human being. She found out that life without him was not a great as she thought that it would be and he found someone who knew how to love him. Princess never lived him and that was their first and biggest problem. I understand why he cried, he thought that his love for Princess was being reciprocated only to find out that her love was never there. That's heartbreaking for anyone. The thing that was lacking in their marriage was communication. They both hold some fault in how it ended.
@AfricanTalesByOmalicha2 ай бұрын

I think she was too young to be settled down with him, but I also think since she was in that predicament she should have made lemonade out of what she viewed as lemons by encouraging her husband to change his eating habits and workout to become more fit & healthier. I don’t think she should have come back once she left especially after leaving such a hurtful letter. You don’t say those kind of things to a person and think they’ll ever forgive you for that. Note: ALWAYS think about what about what a person means to you before you say something you can’t take back! Don’t go burning bridges you may have to cross again! At the end of the day he was smothering but he was also very good to her.

I don't think she would have regretted anything if her money had not run out. She should have made a plan to make that money grow and continue to live life. If he had tended to her emotionally instead of just throwing money at her, maybe in time, she could have grown to love him. But he suffocated her and was completely selfish. You can't treat women like possessions and then be surprised that they only like your possessions.

@talaishawallace93562 ай бұрын
@user-el4bl6di2b He kept her as a prisoner. He loved her beauty and youthfulness. That's even what he told his friends before they got together. He enjoyed showing her off and never let her have any independence. She wasn't allowed to go back to school, have friends, or go anywhere without his bodyguards. He knew the only way to marry her was to get her pregnant. She was manipulated and trapped. Being 19, when they met, she was too naive to understand the consequences and fell for it. She's not wrong for not being attracted to him. She was only wrong trying to pretend. If she were my daughter, I would have warned her about what could happen and not approved the marriage no matter how many gifts he gave me. And if she still chose to marry, I would have supported her. And when she wanted to leave, I would have advised her how to make the money last so she could start over.

The fact that he kept her like a prisoner inside their house and was only allowed to go out with bodyguards and taking Princess as a babymaking factory, was Uche's biggest mistake ! He decided everything. She had no say in nothing ! Everything else is good. The most precious possession of a human being on earth is freedom. No one was created and born to be a slave.
Princess is a victim. A fully grown man steals her youth and lures her with his wealth in a society where money is hard to come by. Even her parents sold her away.
