Saw this and first thing I thought of was the iconic breakdown, and not only was I obviously not disappointed but, dare I say, I love it even more than the original - and Pantera's my favorite band! Not only was that a headbanging breakdown, but it was slow and sent chills down my spine too. Mixing breakdowns and doom metal has a really special unique feeling. Love the rest of the song too, your vocals and the solo especially! 🤘 Can hear some of what could be Riders on the Storm in there like you said it started as lol. Can't say how many times that's happened to me where I've started playing something and then thought "You know what? This is sounding more like this..."
