I feel like if in season 8 Allura confess to Lance, she's going to leave to complete her mission in space, probably with Keith and Corann. In the new trailer we can see a blurred picture of Lance and Pidge crying while staring at each other, I'm not saying it means Plance is endgame, but let me put it in a scene: They're in their last mission, stucked together, Pidge slowly realizes how important is Lance for her, while Lance thinks about Allura, he then sees Pidge, and remember all the moments they have spend together. And Pidge just comes out with something like: "If we are dying here, being honest is the less thing I can do, Lance, I think I may have an interest in you, but a special interest, more than I feel with this technology... Or other planets." Lance does not answer her, he just cries looking at Pidge's eyes. So idk, this is just a thought.
