Vaporeon gets hurt walking through the grass cause grass is super effective against water types. 3. Golem faints from drinking fresh water cause water is super effective against rock/ground types. 4. The electricity from the healing machine in the Pokemom Center made pidgey faint cause electricity is super effective against flying types. 5. Oh come on, you know why Onix got hurt. 6. Gengar faints as Gary turns off the light cause Dark is super effective against Ghost types.

Pokémon Advanced Battle. Solid as a Solrock episode Ash’s Pikachu uses Thunder on his partner Swellow and ends up frying it. Taillow falls to his doom along with Pikachu that lands head first on the ground killing himself. Liza & Tate win Mewtwo & Mew use hyper beam on each other. Ash tries to stop them by getting into the crossfire. A big explosion happens, as the smoke clears all you see is black *Ash* on the ground with his shoes and hat on Fire. Cuts to credits of the movie. Team Rocket gets blasted off 35,000 feet to the air, then fall at high speed to the ground. Blood splatters over the place. Back when Charizard was disobedient with Ash, Charizard used Flamethrower on him, and was covered in soot. Realistically he’s burnt to death and drops to the ground screaming in pain. Pikahu swallowed an apple and fainted one time. Realistically he would’ve choked and died. Pikachu uses thundershock on everyone in pallet town in the first episode back when it was disobedient. Everyone fainted. Realistically they would all be dead.

Excessively literal. To me the games have always made it pretty clear that there is a difference between an element focused into a pokemon attack and a element simply existing in nature or being used in a weaker form for other purposes (i.e. the electricity that powers the healing machines). Heck, Rhydon's been able to use Surf ever since the first generation. Still an amusing video.

It still think that making Ghost weak to Dark was a mistake. Dark can completely replace ghost with only a few fringe cases (like Mimikyu). Dark needed to exist to counter psychic, but psychic was so strong in Gen 1 because ghost attacks were x0 instead of x2, and the only decent bug-type attack was used by a poison type (beedrill), so it didn't even need that. Normal and Fighting Pokemon also get low-hanging fruit like Bite or Knock off, which eliminates Ghost types defensive advantage over them. If I were to redesign Dark, I'd make it basically like Normal, but super-effective and Immune against Psychic, and maybe keep its weakness to Bug.

Honestly, incorporating a lot of these would make the game much more challenging. You have to buy specific items for specific pokemon, if they're weak to electricity you can't take them to a pokemon center, etc.
