I think that list consists of: Gally, Bear King, Buggy, Krieg, Pirate Slaves on Fishman Island, Headliners (from chapter 983), Crocodile, Moria, Doflamingo (His crew wanted him to atleast), Ace (Before he joined Whitebeard), Kid, Luffy (Obviously), Bullet & Whitebeard (Same as Doflamingo). Alternatively you could do a "What if _____ Became an Emperor?" Like what if Moria beat Kaido.

I mean, beating an emperor doesn't mean you'll become one. Yes, blackbeard became one because of his power and killing white beard, but then again it was mostly the navy who got white beard, hundreds of stabs and shots to him and burning holes through him and his face off, they, although not pirates, should have someone of the navy become emperor instead. Also, if kaido didn't have such a huge and fierce army, moria could had taken his shadow while he was sleep and waited until day light fell on him.

My prediction for the Shanks/ Luffy vs Blackbeard has always been that Blackbeard would be primed to grab the maguffin to be King of the Pirates, a crown I suppose, and then out of nowhere Shanks rockets in and stabs Blackbeard’s hand before he can grab it. “Go, Luffy!” Then a rubber arm shoots past both of the Yonko and claims the crown to become King of the Pirates. Luffy acts as the hand Shanks lost to claim Roger’s legacy. Totally epic.

Tbh the only way I see Shanks becoming King of the Pirates is that Luffy dies (maybe in the Blackbeard clash) and his final wish is that Shanks becomes KotP on his behalf. I know that’s pretty dark and will probably never happen, but imo that’s the only way Shanks would have the motivation/reason to become KotP. What if Shanks had the same relationship with Roger just like the one he has with Luffy. It could be that Roger met Shanks somewhat in a similar way that Shanks met Luffy. Roger caught an interest in Shanks and gave him his hat and asked him to give it back to him once he becomes a famous pirate. However Shanks couldn't make it big and at that time Roger gave himself in to the Navy and was executed. Shanks must have seen Roger in Luffy and tried to do the whole thing with the hat. I know it's kind of a long shot but if it were true then there is a possibility that Shanks might die, either trying to save Luffy or the world. I would love to get your opinion on this Tekking.

My one piece theory: what's missing from the world of one piece? Their history. I think the one piece is a history book of some sort or form made by joyboy explaining what the world was and how it got to the way it is today and how you can change/set the future providing an means to do so which is included with the one piece. I think getting the one piece doesnt just make you the king of pirates.. that would be to simple. I think it would make you the king of the world shaping it how you see fit.. I think it's on a much larger grand scale of things than just a simple straw hat that names you king of the pirates

Buggy could really become a true badass by the end. We first saw him as a villian comically losing, later as an ally of circumstances doing big boy things, it could end with him as a friend and an important part of the battle at Raftel.
