For people who are comparing this version to the bangles, I'd like to remind you there would be no bangles version without the original. They are both exceptional and very different. It's ok to like both.

I saw him live in 94' in Tucson at Club Congress, felt bad there were only a handful of fans there but he really did a nice job and did a solo acoustic version of this song doing his usual DADGAD tuning playing the chords with his thumb
