Most important thing is to make sure the relationship is super balanced and both sides contribute and love equally. Have had too many 1-sided relationships, where it felt like the guy was leading the entire relationship, while the girl was just living passively.
@StoicLegend_Official3 күн бұрын
You're absolutely right-balance is key in a healthy relationship. Both partners should actively contribute and bring love and effort to the table. It’s disheartening when one person feels like they’re carrying the weight of the relationship alone. Your experiences highlight an important lesson for all of us: mutual effort and shared responsibility create the foundation for something truly meaningful. Thank you for sharing this insight!

I ignored this girl for almost two weeks. Partly I wanted to see if she texted back since I was the one to always give her the good mornings message. After 5 days of no initial texts from her, it was tough, but I had to accept that I wasn't her only Spiderman and that she had a spider-verse to chat with and go out on dates. So I forgot about her, and didn't text her back, life ALSO reminded that there were other sweets on the menu. I kind of blew that encounter, but that other brief encounter with that other girl was enough to release my mind from that other nonfunctioning bond. So after almost two weeks, she texted back on how was I doing, but I also kept in mind that I wasn't her only spartan and that she had an entire legion to chat and go out with. Fellas, literally I'm trying my hardest to have a monotone mood with her and show no interest, but I also have to be careful not to scare her off. I'm not just trying to become The Spiderman in her spiderverse. I plan to dismantle all that spiderverse and be her only Spiderman.
@StoicLegend_OfficialКүн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your experience! It sounds like you've gained some valuable insights into balancing your own emotions and priorities in the process. Your approach of maintaining a calm and collected demeanor is a good one, but remember, it’s also about being authentic and true to yourself. Relationships thrive on genuine connection, not just strategy. The fact that she reached out shows there’s still some interest on her side, so keep that in mind as you navigate this. While dismantling the “spiderverse” sounds ambitious, it’s more important to focus on building a connection where she naturally values your presence above all. Sometimes, the most attractive thing is a man who’s focused on his own growth and happiness. Stay confident, but also stay grounded. You've got this! 💪

Stoic Legend I'm sharing with you again about my girlfriend whose brother has cancer. In the past she would always start write to me first, recently she stopped writing or calling me at all. After a conversation we had on the phone yesterday we talked for an hour And I told her that it bothers me. She told me that she is not the same person i know because in the room of her brother who is sick with cancer she saw 2 people who died in front of her eyes and it traumatized her. In such a situation should I be the one to initiate Calling and standing by her all the time in this difficult situation or just walking away. what do you think?
@StoicLegend_OfficialКүн бұрын
Thank you for sharing your situation-it’s clear that you care deeply about your girlfriend and her well-being. What she’s going through sounds incredibly traumatic, and it’s likely taking a significant emotional toll on her. In moments like this, Stoicism reminds us to focus on what we can control: offering compassion, understanding, and support without expecting a specific outcome in return. If she’s experiencing trauma, she might need time and space to process her emotions, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t value your presence. Consider initiating calls or messages occasionally, but do so with empathy, not pressure. Let her know you’re there for her unconditionally. For example, a simple “I’m here if you need someone to talk to” can go a long way in showing support. However, also take care of yourself in the process. Supportive relationships should not come at the expense of your own mental and emotional health. Reflect on whether you can continue to be patient and understanding while also maintaining your inner peace. Sometimes, just standing by someone during their struggles can be a profound act of love. Ultimately, the choice between staying or walking away depends on what aligns with your values and what you feel you’re capable of giving in this situation. Remember, kindness and empathy are never wasted, but it’s also important to protect your own well-being. What are your thoughts? Stay strong and grounded-you’re navigating a challenging situation with a lot of thoughtfulness. 🙏

@@StoicLegend_Official Thank you for your response. I definitely plan to act on what you wrote here. In addition to that, I wanted to say that in addition to her brother's cancer, there is a war in my country and she has to go down to the shelter 2-3 times a day and hear missiles exploding next to her. At the same time, when the war started in our area 60 days ago, I left the country and she couldn't do it because of her brother who is sick. What hurt me was that at some point I informed her that I had pneumonia and was hospitalized in a foreign country and she only asked once how I was feeling and all the days she wasn't interested. my thoughts that on my mind are once or twice a week to show interest in her, to offer my help, to send her something that warms her heart on WhatsApp, and the rest of the days to give her a little distance...as they say, caress and distance. What do you think?

Fellas, if she is not texting or calling you, she has a man … detach and move on
@StoicLegend_OfficialКүн бұрын
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Sometimes it's important to focus on what we can control and prioritize our own growth and well-being. Detachment can be a powerful tool to protect your peace and move forward. What strategies have worked best for you in similar situations?
@SergioFernandez-cj4mtКүн бұрын
@ thank u for your reply! I’ve learned the first thing a man needs to do is learn to appreciate one self and learn to love yourself first! U can’t love anyone else if u don’t even love and appreciate urself first. U can do that by feeling good about urself, meaning living a purposeful life and working on improving oneself. When that is a part of a man’s life and it’s a part of ur mindset, we have the right to say to a potential partner … ‘I’m not an option, I’m plan A or nothing’ … if she rebukes, adios! Unfortunately, texting is part of this whole process, im old enough to remember when it was not. A man, or a woman for that matter, can feel it when the potential partner just don’t give an ish about you. CANNOT IGNORE THE 🚩. I know I’ve slipped and I have ignored them on one situationship. There are many women that play games, but then there are a few that will not. Gotta be comfortable in solitude while u find that one person.
@StoicLegend_OfficialКүн бұрын
@@SergioFernandez-cj4mt Thank you for sharing such thoughtful insights! You're absolutely right-self-love and self-appreciation are the foundation for any healthy relationship. When a man invests in himself, lives purposefully, and continuously works on self-improvement, he not only feels fulfilled but also sets a high standard for the type of connection he deserves. Your perspective on being "plan A or nothing" is spot on-it’s about valuing yourself enough to not settle for less than mutual respect and genuine interest. And yes, red flags should never be ignored; they are there for a reason and often save us from unnecessary heartache. It’s so important to trust your intuition and prioritize your peace. The point about being comfortable in solitude is especially powerful. When we embrace solitude, it helps us grow and ensures we don’t compromise for the wrong reasons. Thank you for sharing this wisdom-your journey and reflection will surely resonate with many! 💪
