I had been feeling kind of burnt out and dissatisfied with fighting games in the last few months since I'd been playing so much SF6 and Xrd's lobbies suck, but watching this helped to rekindle the love I have for Xrd. Thanks.

@@LucidButtonMasher - Only a max of 8 players - If there are an odd number of players in the lobby, you'll be booted off the cabinet when someone else wants to join, making it feel like you're getting one-and-done'd - Player names and win/loss messages overlap continuously, making them impossible to read - Sending chat messages is a huge pain - Cabinets glitch out if someone tries to line up to play since he'll be spectating a match that no longer exists and will hold up the rotation (unless he joins too late, in which case he doesn't spectate???) - Lobbies still have memory leak issues if they're open too long (I think?), which wouldn't matter except for douches who make lobbies and go AFK for six hours It's the players more than anything, though. Most netplayers just flail around and never change their flowchart, which can be fun at first but quickly grows stale if you want to learn a matchup beyond two special moves. My experience in SF6 has been the opposite, though I am only in platinum so perhaps all the tryhards have filtered up to diamond/master. Discord matchmaking helps, but I despise Discord.

Is it just me or does Xrd look absolutely impossible to read? I physically just can’t see what’s gaping on 90% of the time. All the moves look no less than frame 5 and instant (a lot like MK’s animation style) am I crazy? Maybe, but from my POV everything just looks like it’s instant and like it shouldn’t do what it do. -Signed; a strive player

Strive moves are just as fast. Chips 5p is the same between both games for reference. There's just no slow down on counter besides extra hitstop
