Too often our compliments, especially to women, are solely based on their appearance. I compliment people all the time, It never crossed my mind that someone should return the compliment. Trust me, I don't give compliments to be liked or because it's something to do. I'm truly genuine. If someone is giving a compliment from the heart, nothing more is needed except "Thank you"😊

The daughters chime in on how he can sell items at more reasonable prices. He asks them how they came up with those ideas. Their response is, "We're girls, we know stuff." When people compliment me I’ve made a habit out of saying “Thank you, I’m just trying to be like you.” And add a wink. I just LOVE how it seems to make people feel. Sometimes, they may not be all dolled up and feeling their best and I can just see it lift some people’s spirit/mood instantly. It tends to catch most people off guard and they have the cutest reactions. 😊😊

I have definitely gotten better at receiving compliments but I’m still socially awkward at times. Lol That being said, when I compliment someone, I don’t expect a compliment in return. Just knowing that it made them smile, is enough for me. Always try and compliment someone whenever you can, you never know what someone is going through and they could really need to hear it.
