Saebyeok cried due to the fact that that scene was the time she had an actual talk with someone,knowing one of them was going to die,the girl in the animation ( I forgot her name ) basically was a true friend,sacrificing herself to help sae byok meet her brother go to jeju ( ? ) island and etc. For her to win,she wanted to sacrifice herself because she didnt have any excuse to win and leave the place,but Saebyeok did.

She literally said she has nothing to do in her life so she rather let's someone with reason to live live, than to let herself with nothing to do living. She made a sacrifice for someone. That's the sad point. That's why Sae-Beyok cried! She at least understood it, you didn't, not blaming you, but you must understand it truly, not only say omg she is so edgy because she said this and that, you must watch the show with some attention, why was Sae-Beyok crying? Simple! Someone who was the only one in the world got told Sae-Beyok backstory and then she sacrficed her life for Say-Beyok, and sad was that she couldn't find a reason to let her life keep going. Hope you understood it when I wrote the reason like 5 times.
