there is a few in legends that gives him a run for his money. one beeing mandelor the ultimate (might remember the wrong name) that revan was batteling aigenst. oh and if the crimes from the legend books etc was on it grevious and jabba would have been in a lot more trouble. grevious destroyed one of the city planets that had 100s of billions of inhabitence if not a trillion beeings living on it for instance in legends. and yes Corrosount is NOT the only cityplanet. its just the most famous out there. another leader would have been the leader of the vong during the invasion. the vong slaughterd trillions of beeings in total.

I'm not sure the last one in Grievous's charges would be self defense. Kenobi was moving to engage Grievous after he learned that the people in the area he visited are being held hostage. Kenobi had reasonable cause to fight Grievous, so sending his magna guards to fight Kenobi wouldn't be self defense.

Fun fact: a true purpose of Grievous for Dooku was not just to make Seps look bad to justify the creation of the more secure Empire, but also to make humans from the Republic despise nonhumans (a majority of Sep leadership next to Dooku was not human) and cyborgs, like the count secretly did, especially Grievous (whom he had body ruined in the first place), so a new empire in Dooku's image was led only by pure humans who would show others their "rightful" place and in his mind were the only ones worthy to be above "ignorant masses of rabble".

Grievous also went back to Dathomir a second time, so would that count as a second act of genocide? I feel like Jabba is a little justified for having Han, because Han owes the government trillions of credits and after the government imprisoned him they gave him to Jabba. 16:08 Maul admits to never wanting to kill Kenobi only to torture him, his attempted murder there should just be for Ventress (same thing at 18:37). During Order 66 Maul steals a ship that belonged to the government and knowingly left 2 innocent people behind causing them to almost die. Maul would also get a charge for permanently blinding Kanan.

And this is just the stuff we see on screen. Imagine cataloging all the other war crimes Grievous committed during the Clone Wars, like the use of chemical/biological weapons on multiple occasions resulting in mass death/genocide and environmental damage (possibly permanent) to the affected planets.

Great video. Not to mention Grievous executing prisoners in the escape pods at Abregado. Maul also killed the Seventh Sister after she was incapacitated. Also, interesting question: does the droids' sentience mean Jabba (and Cad Bane) could be charged with torture?

Not under Republic law. Droids were not considered sentient beings and thus had few (if any) rights.

Well the entire late stages of the war was pretty much Grievous' assassination attempt Though there were some concise examples: on the Malevolence for instance, Padme overloaded the engines of her ship to make it blow up with Grievous inside. He caught the explosion point blank but shrugged it off like the badass he was

@@RokuHanmar mandalorians traditionally fight to the death over the right to rule I'm pretty sure. That's the only reason Visla agreed to the one on one, it would go against his tradition if he denied the duel.

You would think Jabba would have been a little more respectful of Luke's demands after his encounter with Darth Vader a few years before the events that took place in ROTJ. In that situation Vader wiped out everyone other than Jabba and started force choking him giving him one of two options work with the Empire or end up just like Ozzel or Needa.

Damn, considering that Jabba was pretty young for his race (604 years, was born in 600 BBY, died in 4 ABY), he’s lucky for what Leia did to him. Like, imagine that - 194,5 years in prison and next being executed. Considering Hutts live nearly 1000 of years, it’s a long punishment before death Though Grivus breaks that record - with his all cybernetic replacements he can last all his 18245 years before his execution And Maul eels lucky here - no way he will last till his own death sentence

Robbing a robber is still robbery. Maybe not if you want to give the stolen stuff back to their owners, but definitely not if you don't want to do that. Palpatine was doing something illegal by giving the Order 66 and clones can't be held responsible, cuz they're brainwashed. Even if the attempt to kill Maul were to be legal, he probably couldn't know that (I didn't watch that part of the show, sorry) and this would still be legal. Did he know that The Inquisitors could legally do that? Could they even do that?

About Grievous: Remember his sentence is limited to his on-screen appearance only. Let's add some of his atrocities from Legends to his list... Let's see, we have: Several atrocities against Yamri in the Houk War. The regular usage of Combat Tri-Droids equipped with viruses. The bombardment of his own troops when they were losing. Regular cases of murder on the bridge of the Invisible Hand. The release of the Brainrot Plague on Loedorvia, which killed every single human in the entire Weemell Sector. Regular destruction of medical and civilian transports. The complete destruction of Humbarine, an ecumenopolis with an estimated population of 1 trillion. Deliberate acts of terrorism and kamikaze attacks against civilian targets during the Battle of Coruscant for an entire week. According to some sources, it took years to repair the damage. And these are only the major war crimes I know without research.

Lightsabers were not government property. They were weapons of two different religious orders. So, the theft of government property charge against Maul is not accurate.
