for that last one, if you read the instruction manual of the first mario bros game, you'll realize that no amount of childhood would pay for the death and destruction that bowser has caused ... although mario would still be evil because he gets points from breaking bricks. (for reference, bowser turned all the humans(mushroom kingdom residents) into the brick blocks that you get 100 points for breaking. only princess peach has the magic to turn them back, but by the time you get to her, how many bricks have you broken?)

Fun fact: The axe at the end isn't a switch to demolish the bridge, at least not in the original Super Mario Bros (although the sphinx boss in Super Mario Land had a detonator button). Although in later games like Super Mario 3D Land there *is* a bridge demolishing switch. I guess it was changed due to the misconception. Now I wonder if any Mario games will feature Mario bashing his head into blocks because of the misconception....
