I'm an Australian Niner fan but went to college at U. Illinois surrounded by Bears fans. It was the Walter Payton era and I ended up watching a lot of Bears games including their Superbowl win. So I have a huge soft spot for Da Bears because of Water Payton who in my mind is the greatest American I have seen in my lifetime. I'm an aerospace engineer, so to put Walter in front of all those Apollo Astronauts (1 of whom I met) should tell you how I see Walter and his legacy. He was not perfect by any means, but the way he made other people think about life and the people around them is truly profound. So believe me when I tell that I do want to see the Bears get another Lombardi just as much as I want another one in the Niner trophy cabinet. Go Niners Go Da Bears
