You know the people who seem really close in text messages and meet ups, but once they start living together, as a roommate for example, they may start having fights that would ultimately end any trace of affection for one another, begin hating on each other and violence might soon ensue, until one inevitably decides live somewhere else. Breaking off and becoming independent like what the Ireland did before in 1937 from Great Britain. Basically: "People" represent the majority in a certain region. I chose "people" because we also experience inner conflicts. but it's often easier to settle due to the things you have in common(with yourself = with people from the same region) than say, a person from the other side of the world with a different belief, culture and history. "House" is the Law, and what determines what is to be enforced. Our current government only allows that we all live under the same house, with the exception of Bangsamoro, which is effectively a semi-autonomous region, The main government still has a say in how they run, just like states under a federal government. People from the same region in Luzon who has a relatively similar environment, in this case, mostly religious Christians may not necessarily agree with the idea that they could be subject to what the people of Mindanao, who are predominantly muslims, deems should be illegal or have a more serious verdict. I'm using religions to put emphasis on differences because I think it best represents the divide in the country, mindanao being so far from the capital, also did you know that roughly 56% of the total population is situated in Luzon? Now, Federalism adds this to the equation... "Community/Neighborhood" Is a way for those people to remain friends without needing to live under the same roof, To be neighbors and while still living in the same Neighborhood/community, similar, not identical nor completely different. not as close as a family member but not as far as the closest neighboring town. Benefit from companionship, but still have some time for privacy and a little more freedom to personalize your own house. Also less burden goes to the main government, as they can focus more on international affairs and threats to national security than being all over the place, may deal with a few domestic issues here and there, but still... The point still stands. Local governments have a far better grasp in micromanagement than if a President who is born and raised in Manila is suddenly being pressured to answer for an issue exclusive to Davao... Let the local governments handle it, if it becomes too much, only then that the main government may offer some assistance.

My own version of federated states of the Philippines, with 12 states. Six Luzonian states, two Visayan States, and four Mindanaoan states. Luzonian states: -State of Northern Luzon (NL) (Composed of Region 1 and 2 plus CAR) -State of Central Luzon (CL) (Whole Region 3) -State of Southern Luzon (SL) (Whole of CALABARZON) -State of Insular Luzon (IL) (Whole of MIMAROPA) -State of Bicol (BL) (Whole of Region 5 except Masbate) -State of Metro Manila (MM) (Whole of Metro Manila) Visayan states: -State of Western Visayas (WV) (Composed of Region 6 and 7) -State of Eastern Visayas (EV) (Whole Region 8 plus Masbate) Mindanaoan states: -State of Northern Mindanao (NM) (Composed of CARAGA and Northern Mindanao except Misamis Occidental and Lanao del Norte) -State of Southern Mindanao (SM) (Composed of Davao Region and SOCCSKSARGEN) -State of Western Mindanao (WM) (Composed of Zamboanga Peninsula plus Misamis Occidental) -State of Bangsamoro (BM) (Composed of whole BARMM plus Lanao del Norte) Since we have 12 states, we will still have 24 senators in the senate. Lanao del Norte cannot be part of bangsamoro. A conflict will arise again should you seperate lanao del Norte from northern mindanao. Yung bangsamoro state it is what it is. Majority in lanao del Norte are christian brothers. Don't get me wrong, the politics or governance in this region cannot be part of bangsamoro. Let's be realistic, hindi papayag mga taga bangsamoro state na magkaroon ng cristian government officials. Kaya nga sila nakipaglaban magkaroon ng sarili nilang state para sila mag manage. The same with lanao del Norte eversince Cristian government officials ang nag mamanage. Imagine gano kagulo elections nyan.

I am for Federalism, but I would like to make this recommendation. Develop new capital cities that will be the administrative seat of the state. Most of the capital cities mentioned here are already the centers of commerce in our present regional set-up. We need to develop new hubs in order to distribute development. The capital cities mentioned here are all very developed. They can already stand as commercial capitals. I hope that administrative capitals need to be developed to spur urbanization. In my case, since I am from Iligan City, I would suggest that for the Northern Mindanao State, please consider Iligan City as its administrative capital. Cagayan de Oro is already very urbanized.

FIY only: for Zamboanga , the flag had used during the spanish revolution lead by Gen. Vicente Álvarez and created the República de Zamboanga (the current Zamboanga City). It would be awesome! Each states has its own army national guard without depending on other states, in case if there’s calamities or any disaster events. Vote it’s own Philippine senators and House of Representatives depends on the population, and has own state Senators and state representatives. It has a own agenda, power and state laws separating from the executive branch which is the federal sector of the house. From these it should be only 2 dominant party’s aside from independent to diminish so much parties in order to be more sufficient for good governance as a whole country. Amen!

Every municipalities, city, province should have representative. Ang pedeng klase ng federalismo ay federal-parliqmentary or federal-republic. This 18 state in this video is good enough to divide the Philippines into state. BARMM will still recognize, pwede mag bago kung sakalaing maging parliamentary tayo. Most politicians wants to claim SABAH and become part of the Philippines, but the only solution is by Invading or ICJ (International Court of Justice). I know we have enough evidence to prove that Sabah is part of the Philippines. If Sabah become part of the Philippines, Sabah might politically divide into 3 region/state, northern, central and southern (they might make it 5, east and west).

There will only be one state governor and the provincial names will be discarded just like the US. Although they can be retained just for area identification. For example in Texas: there are subdivisions like Northern Texas, Texas Panhandle, East Texas, The Hill countries, South Texas, DFW area and so forth.. but still they are all part of the State of Texas.

Interesting video. Although, I hope these flag designs are not permanent because there is still room for improvement. Flags are heraldic devices. As such, they should be emblazoned with careful thought guided by sacred geometry, powerful symbolism, and traditional heraldic procedure. For instance, some of the flags do not adhere to the Rule of Tinctures (gold/yellow next to silver/white) - a placement that is considered a rare exemption only when there is no other choice because the other components are already placed perfectly (eg. Philippine Flag, Vatican City).
