I could see the Traveler being quietly surveilled, manipulated, and subtly guided down a favorable path by the Fatui. Then without even realizing it, the Traveler ends up being blamed for a horrible event and is granted the chance to serve the Tsaritsa as a partner when the Traveler is left with no where else to go. *sips depression juice*

If the Fatui has a hidden motive behind their work in Teyvat. Why not the Traveler? After all the work they’ve done for the other nations, it’s more like a means to an end (if that is the right word...) for the Traveler. (It is honestly sad seeing how much Traveler has done yet only Dainsleif was able to bring us closer to the truth about our Sibling and even about Khaenriah while the rest of the truth we have to look for in our journey) I imagine a dialogue the Traveler would have with the Tsaritsa about her ideal in getting the other Archons’ Gnosis, possibly even opening the mind of the Traveler about more of the truth of this world. Would the Traveler change? Would our morals be shaken? One person has mentioned no matter what side the Traveler lands on, it feels like a gray area, we can’t really say their actions or decisions are wrong or right (at least by our human standards) Just thinking that the Traveler would be in more dire need to fulfill their goal knowing how situation of Teyvat is. (plus that mask suits Aether really well...) About Delusions: Traveler feels like an enigma, seeing how Delusions are mostly dangerous to normal non-vision users like Teppei, I believe Traveler has a higher resistance to the effects of a delusion (more like two forces of power at work such as our Original power vs the Delusion’s seeping dark energy) if Diluc could withstand it manga-wise then I think Traveler can at least once we reach the final chapter, we would have gained a sustainable amount of our power back (unless the seal of the Heavenly Principles is the only thing holding us back) or we get to see a corrupted Traveler? (That’s not impossible too...) QwQ would sweet sweet sister Lumine come to our rescue?

Agreed. The Traveler is trying to find the archon of each nation. Venti is secretive, we need to catch him running away, all our actions are self defense or letting Venti talk to us openly. In Liyue, Zhongli is protecting us from arrest, so we help him back, we also explore a decent amount of Liyue this way. Inazuma, Raiden is right there. While the Traveler obviously feels sorry for Inazumans, after meeting their sibling, they just want to speedrun the world effectively. Talk to Raiden, go to Sumeru is the plan. It makes sense that we turn down Ayaka's call for help at first, we just want to go home. However, seeing the visionless holders makes us want to help them, we also don't know if Raiden will even talk to us with how she treats her subjects, so we need to do something to grab her attention.

The fatui do seem like they will become the true good guys eventually, even if the method they go about it is unethical, the heavenly principals are clearly the true antagonists, and by the time we reach the final region, aka near the end of our journey, I believe the traveller, the Fatui, and the abyss will all join together to wage war against Celestia.

I think the Traveler will consult Diluc and the Knights before going to Snezhnaya. Diluc has had experience with the Fatui, and is also apart of a massive information guild. So he might be the one the Traveler consults before going to Snezhnaya. The Knights of Favonius are also familiar with the Fatui, given how Kaeya is trying to kiss up to them, probably for information, by lavishly giving them food from Mondstadt and Liyue (see tanuki event).

i'm more inclined to thinking that the Traveler is UNDOUBTEDLY going to join the Fatui... but that it will be played entirely for laughs. Much like the Traveler's smuggling themself illegally into Inazuma, it's likely that the Traveler's entrance into Szneznaya will be a collaborative effort between they & multiple friends they have made along the way: heck, it's entirely probable that a character such as Ningguang or Kaeya will ASK (and enable) the Traveler to infiltrate the Fatui as a mutually beneficial operation - the Traveler is able to explore Sneznaya; Kaeya &/or Diluc, Ningguang &/or Tartaglia, Yae Miko &/or Kokomi, Lisa &/or [her Teacher], etc. get Insider Information on What The Actual Heck Is Going On with the Fatui. An International Alliance between the companions & nations of Teyvat designed to enable a Fatui Infiltration is very, very probable - and it has long been foreshadowed that such an operation will occur: the many Paper Thin Disguise incidents in character quests (Eula's, for example) and "accidental wanted fugitive" hide&seek obstacles in Liyue and Inazuma... it's not a question of "WILL the Traveler join the Fatui" but "HOW will the Traveler join the Fatui". a masked Traveler "joining up" as a grunt, working their way up the ranks until they can gain unrestricted access to Szneznaya itself? bad-bad acting where the Traveler Blatantly Lies about a "change of heart" and takes up on Tartaglia's invitation? the Traveler joining forces with a Defecting Harbinger & acting as a "prospective member, here to take in the sights before signing any dotted lines"? i think it VERY unlikely that the Traveler would GENUINELY join the Fatui, let alone accept a Permanent Position as a Harbinger: the Traveler has been consistently wary of committing to Teyvat, dodging romantic inclinations, never "settling" in any one Nation for long, turning down positions of power from the likes of Ningguang & Yae Miko... the Traveler ironically earning the rank "Honorary Harbinger" would be VERY on-brand, less of a betrayal to the other nations & themselves, and serve as a subtle reminder of how terrifying the Traveler appears to the leaders of Teyvat - a strange outlander unwilling to affirm definite affiliation with any single nation, capable of fending off Gods and the god-like, and with a Mysteriously Absent Sibling WITH THE EXACT SAME SKILLSET/POTENTIAL (that "oh gods, there's TWO of them??!" vibe).

It would be funny if the traveler. Gave them the middle finger to their diplomatic ways, for how much they care about the people of each region and the suffering they did. Or when meeting the tsaritsa the traveler double crosses them and doesn't follow through, and just straight up ask's the tsaritsa out right. As a big middle finger for all they did. Like "You've caused suffering for many in teyvat and care little about them. So why should I care about a little contract we made. I'm not zhong LI and I've faced the Raiden shogun. I have no trouble throwing down with you to get what I want"

They probably could if they wanted to. I think this raises other questions about the purification thing though. In Mondstadt, they purify the dragon tears, with a break in between each. The next time (I believe) it was seen was when they "fixed" the festering desire (not sure if they actually purified it or what, someone let me know). My point is, while the twins may have the power, there doesn't seem to be much practice for it. At least intentionally, considering Xiao "feels better" when he's around. Might be the lack of solid friendship there though 😅 Anyways, the wrath of a dragon and the wrath of several old gods are on two different levels, so the traveler might be too ineffective to really purify anything before the delusion gets to him. Like trying to dam a waterfall with a twig. Despite the relatively recent archon war, there doesn't seem to be too much to practice on...

Its been a while since I've read his character story but I believe that Diluc has contacts with an underground network that could have a base in Snezhnaya and support an underground rebellion. I can totally see Diluc smuggle us in. Or the Adventurer's Guild could have a much more powerful influence in Snezhnaya since it was founded in Snezhnaya. As an international organization with an android that serves as the face and as a information hub for each branch and is quite possibly a hive mind/inter connected, I would like to believe that their consistent presence will eventually have more relevance in the nation it was founded in.

I have a feeling that our MC Traveler will ally themselves with the abyss order along with our sibling. Once we finish our journey and discover the truth of the world, I feel we will agree with our sibling to take down celestial and plunge the world into the abyss (maybe the MC sibling would turn back at the very end) The recent Three Realms event had some dialogue with Enjou where the Traveler emphasizes that he is one of the only people who has never lied to them.

Fatui just got hit hard in Inazuma with the death of Signora and Scaramouche going rogue. In Mondstadt they barely suffer any damage but ended up with great result and in Liyue they're losing reputation but they're mainly successful and Northland bank is still up. But in Inazuma they lost 2 harbingers and yet they barely get any results with the gnosis missing and their delusion business went downhill since the abolishment of the vision hunt decree. They are gonna take serious actions soon to redeem this

I feel like the Fatui are going to very begrudgingly let us into Shneznaya, since we're simply a Traveler, but if we go near any important buildings or anything, like in Inazuma before the third archon quest, we'd be turned away. This might lead us to sneaking in and speaking directly with the Tsaritsa, who of course, expected and was waiting for us. We might be offered alot of privilege and power, but honestly, I don't think Traveler would take it. They might be tricked later one tho, since as we seen in Shenhe's quest, Traveler isn't as all powerful as we think. At that point I think Shneznaya's tech and experimentation on the world would be far ahead, and Dottore might be able to unlock Traveler's true potential, but of course providing a delusion (think a delusion of Abyssal darkness (through Tarts maybe? Taking out/controlling two of the most unstable people would be great) as a counter to the Traveler's light) Dots could also maybe harness that power and either use it himself or give it to the Tsaritsa (maybe create a gnosis which might aid the Tsaritsa in completing her collection or powering up smth to take out the divine)

I actually think the abyss order and the fatui are already working together 1) the corruption of davalin by the abyss directly helped the fatui control mondstat. 2) the random frontal attack by the abyss order on mondstat while the traveler was fighting davalin allowed for the surprise attack on Venti. 3) in both liyue and inazuma there was very little abyss activity. This is probably due to the fatui having a large amount of control in those areas.

It's also interesting when I heard about slimes acting like their archons cause the biggest cryo slime has an ice shield of its own but once you break it, it runs away before coming back to fight you. Does this mean the Tsaritsa has her own "shields"? Cause Zhongli and geo slimes do. Then Electro slimes and Ei both use each other as batteries. While Venti shoots from a distance like Anemo slimes... Then there's the Dendro slimes.

At this point.. I think we will just grab?(or willingly get?) some archons gnosis ourself maybe the Pyro Archon? According to teyvat travail It seems she(?) will give us some more information and If the tsaritsa is really trying to rebel against the 'divine' then the Pyro Archon will maybe say the traveller to take the gnosis and bargain with the tsaritsa or something? actually i totally see the pyro archon giving us her gnosis! natlan is the nation of war from what we know from the manga, and i bet the pyro archon is really stubborn, so the fatui will only have her gnosis missing, and the pyro archon might give us hers so that we can be like "hey tsaritsa, im gonna give you the last gnosis you need if you give me info about khanrei'ah,but if you don't give me info i'll eat the gnosis ;)" (or however you spell khanrie'ah it idek tbh)

one thing abt the delusions, the traveller has the capability to purify(Dvalin, Dvalin's tear, Festering desire), wont he purify the delusion? yes the magic that he has purified so far has been abyssal magic(which frm the lore that ive understood so far is much different but at the same time very similar), which is the dark magic, but by the time the traveller reaches shneznaya, gets acess to the 7th element, maybe the delusion is smth that actually triggers his abilities, cuz he purifies that magic that gives him back his powers as a God, becuz the main stuff in a delusion is archon residue, so if he purifies it, that means he gains the power of the archons/gods n becomes stronger.. the plot where the Tsaritsa goes as far as to drug the traveler is plausible, but instead of subduing him, it enhances him n brings him back to his full potential, what do u think?

I was considering that but I realized they can dispel Abyssal magic but they were knocked up by the Tatarigami. Strong emotion might have been able to bypass the ability of their purification which is weird because it should be a passive, or they simply can't purify delusions / the material of delusions

GI lore is fascinating innit, so many interpretations n possible endings

The tsaritza and then might not like the fact we stopped their plans so much but the dead defeating they might see as “well they were just too weak then” and recognize it as the travelers strength instead.

To me the Traveler joining the fatui feels like a betrayal to their friends who’ve hurt by them especially Diluc. I think what might happen is the Traveler infiltrates their ranks and scour all the data they have and once they do, they’ll cripple them and crush all of the gnoses with their hands and then interrogate the Tsaritsa and then leave her to die. In other words it will probably be like Assassin’s Creed.

What I think is worth noting is that when the traveller first came to Inazuma, they had no interest in getting involved in the war over the Vision Hunt Decree. Her first and main priority was meeting the archon. So being welcomed with open arms and receiving an initiation to meet the Tsaritsa would probably let her consider it, even if there were conditions attached.

This description is on the Shivada Jade Gemstone "Since you could endure my bitter cold, you must have the desire to burn? "Then, burn away the old world for me." When I first read the description, I had a hunch that it was the Tsaritsa talking to the traveler, since the descriptions in the gemstones are statements from the archons. If this is indeed the Tsaritsa talking to the traveler, then I guess it's an invitation of the Tsaritsa to the traveler to join her? To burn the world for her? to assist her? Or maybe it's my fanfic mind talking but what if it's what the Tsaritsa told the traveler during the traveler's initiation to the fatui? I don't have proof about this one, it's just a hunch :>

WHEN we side with them is just as important as *who* we side with. Had we joined them from the beginning, we'd see Mondstadt play out in a way different way. I doubt we would see the death of Signora if we join them before the Inazuma plot (or maybe we will, since she has been annoying us during our whole trial period), we wouldn't take as much part in the Inazuma fight and instead help distribute delusions throughout. We'd have the goal of rescuing the people from The Chasm.... so on and on and on.

However, if the traveller joins the Fatui, we'll be under the Tsaritsa, which means we'll officially become the abyss sibling's enemy. It's already clear that there's some tension between the 2 siblings as the traveller has been helping the Archons. Does this mean we're gonna go against the abyss and by proxy, our sibling? I hope that it doesn't happen since it'll make it hard to end the story happily, since if we go back with our sibling, we'd have bad blood with them, but if we fight against our sibling, we might never reconnect with our sibling, our even have to kill them. Either way, things wouldn't turn out very well

What if the Tsarista is working for Aether because Lumine already is steady taking control of Teyvat! Traveller may be forced to assist the Fatui take all the Gnosis unknowingly to help return the power to the him/herself. Your sibling mentions we have time to come together again, maybe this is way to convince your sibling to regain lost memories and power. It's possible the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles is blocking your sibling from helping you gain power, so instead she convinced the Tsaritsa to help you regain strength, even these Harbinger battles are a test to unlock your true power. It's also possible that Traveller is indeed being helped by the Cryo Archon, MC prefers Cryo slimes, and has an increased bias to interacting with Cryo than Pyro. This story is full of twists and turns, and I am assuming not only a Fatui connection but they actually a part of the Abyss as well.

My guess is that we fight a harbinger in every chapter of the story of teyvat , then fight with them to Take down Celestia . That would also explain why mondsat is marked as "Prologue" And not Chapter 1. It is where we get introduced , not starting the story of Genshin Impact. (Also I don't have any Idea about Finding our sibling but I think we might have a solo fight with a god in celestia relating to the story preview when Dainslief said " Defeat me , Command me aside , Show me that you're worthier than I too rescue her"

I think in the end traveler will use all gnosis that cryo archon gathered and get op asf. Like traveler without any effort controlled 100+ vision during fight with ei. Since he can use vision with much higher effort he should draw power from gnosis to. Traveler is dem op I'm not sure why he isn't using his power to full potential the fact the he can steal any power without any effort at all

at least from what i remember, varka is supposed to be on an expedition in the mare jivari with the rest of mondstadt's cavalry. although him joining the fatui is interesting, i think we'll meet him in natlan (since the mare jivari is there)

Hmmm. Given the Traveler’s proclivities, I feel it’s more likely that the Tsaritsa will end up being won over by the power of love, and become a Traveler Simp similar to the other former antagonist who is an incarnation of the flagship characters of their prior work. Namely, while Kiana’s incarnation lost her power and became a Simp offscreen, Mei’s has become a Simp over the course of Inazuma, I find it likely Bronya’s will become one over the course of the Scheznaya chapter.

I think the Fatui are gonna end up being the Anti Entropy of Genshin, Celestia is Schicksal, and the abyss order is World Serpent. Basically one faction is at first presented as evil, but we come around when a bigger threat comes. Its the other two factions that are the threat.

Maybe the one we use to fight them might even be the Abyss sibling who would respond to their twin's agony! That would be a plot twist. I would personally cry if I have to fight my Traveler. 🥲

I think that the traveler could spy on the fatui. I dunno how this would work though or where it could take place (Mabye Snezhnaya?). But doing this, the traveller could find information about the fatui that hasn't been mentioned in the game.

The Travellers in game dialouge has become more and more impatient even straight up refusing to help sometimes, seems like they are getting a bit annoyed at being sent around in an endless circle of side quests, either way some players are certainly getting antsy about it.

I think we will be left with only 8 harbingers because I believe they are the chess pawns and Hoyoverse showed with La Signora that they can and will kill harbingers if they so desire. I've mentioned this on reddit, but I will rephrase it: I believe the Tsaritsa is the king piece, because not only is it quite ironic since she is a queen (and Barbatos had that piece), but because she orders the pawns to do her biding and the king piece is not captured in chess but killed instead, in my own experience at least. This all has to do with the chess pieces representing a gnosis, and one of Tartaglia's voice lines during the conversations between La Signora and Zhongli ("You played me like a pawn"). However, this leaves the question: if the Tsaritsa is the king gnosis, which piece is missing? We have only 7 archons, after all.

Maybe the ice Archon is ignorant to all the horrible things they’ve done. Maybe she just has guidelines and a set mission statement and that’s it. Maybe like Ei she’s out of touch. Because I watched the show, "The Owl House", I just came up with a random scenario or some garbage. I don't think you're gonna understand the future writing (which there is A LOT and you probably won't be able to know what I mean by just skimming & scanning through the text), unless you watched TOH. So yk Lilith, she was thinking of ways to capture Eda and force her to join the Emperor's coven? Like, Belos is pure evil, I love Belos' character so much that I wanna punch him where it hurts. Anyways, Eda's apprentice, Luz, is probably one of the only connections she has, which makes me think of Aether and Paimon. Could the Fatui capture a "Flying pet" and blackmail Aether to join the Fatui? Remember how Lilith called Luz "Eda's human pet"? This is strangely lining up. Except, Belos scammed Lilith and Belos literally tried to kill Eda. Which, makes Belos' character even more powerful. The way Belos died, there was a literal god who transformed him into 'goolos'. I don't think the Fatui are gonna try to kill Aether, though. Aether doesn't really have connections for long, as he is a traveler, so that would make sense. Your idea of surveillance actually makes me think of Raine and Terra. Besides Belos, I think Terra is the biggest threat until the end of season 2. Terra literally tried to brainwash Raine, which failed, because Raine is apart of the Bard coven so he changed the properties of Terra's tea with sound waves. That made me think, what if Aether didn't need surveillance? He just needed to be brainwashed. But then again, Belos literally has an entire army. Couldn't he just use it to apprehend Eda and Luz? And the Tsaritsa also has a literal army. Hmmm... Ik most of y'all probably won't take your time to read it, but, The Owl House is a really good show and you should watch it to become more big brain. It's only available on Disney+ I think. Sorry y'all if I'm advertising this, I swear I'm not. Edit: I'm just thinking the Tsaritsa pulling a Warden Wrath on Aether, literally. Ik it's definitely not gonna happen but I think it would be so goofy if someone actually made that. I don't think there are a lot of genshin players who actually watched TOH. Edit #2: I think it would be better to say that Luz is Aether (It would makes sense, since Luz is a human inside a world of demons and witches, like Aether, who is from another world of even outer space, in a world of humans and mortals.) and Eda is Paimon (This makes more sense because Eda is Luz's mentor. Even in a voiceline, Paimon says that the traveler is her younger sibling, as Aether does almost everything for Paimon, like how Luz's first few weeks or days of being Eda's apprentice, Eda told Luz to run some errands for her.)
