Yeah that's something I don't understand about companies these days. Get rid of all their aged _experienced_ workers in favour of young models fresh out of college or uni, and then wonder why their company isn't doing so well all of a sudden. Age used to mean and be worth something once upon a time. And not just "you're too old for this". Some things truly are a young man's game, music is not and has never been one of those things. Regardless of genre. If anything, age should mean you've got even _more_ to bring to the table. A whole wealth of life experiences to showcase that the younger generations haven't experienced yet. Or maybe never will experience. We should _want_ more older people making music!

I think the music industry is missing out _big time_ not letting more older people in. It's like once you hit 30s or 40s you become dead to them. Like people that age or older don't have any money to spend on new music? Bullshit, if you had older generations on your label, _alongside_ the younger people, making stuff that is relevant to people their age, those older people would buy the new stuff! That's why people get stuck in their ways and don't like modern up-to-date music, cos it's not relevant to them and made by a generation they don't have a lot in common with, on topics no longer that important. You ever notice there's never any songs about menopause? Despite the fact at least half the world's entire population will at some point go through it? That's potentially billions of sales right there that _could_ happen, that won't because the music industry doesn't understand this simple concept.
