That hippo was certainly NOT aggressive in any manner shaper or form. He knows the security chap and probably has his /her entire life. A wild hippo would not react that way. I've encountered one while fishing an estuary in St Lucia, South Africa. It is an experience I will never forget and it put me in my place as far as respecting any wild animal goes.

Humans never domesticated cats. Cats knew a good thing when they saw it and domesticated themselves! Cats and wolves (which became dogs after thousands of years of careful breeding) are the only mammals who domesticated themselves by choosing to live with humans. No other animal has done that! Goats, sheep, cattle, horses, chickens, geese and pigs were taken from the wild by humans and confined in a pen or barn to be used as work animals or for food. But cats and dogs can be allowed to wander freely and most remain close to home by choice. They have truly chosen to be our friends.

Because people who round up dogs when they’re on their way home are dognappers. Same for the very misguided cat-nappers of the world. Not all who wander are lost, so leave them alone so they can go home. When they need help, they will seek it. Otherwise, they have humans who are waiting for them to come back, so stop stealing people’s pets, and community cats that have a neighborhood family.

I read that in 2007 there were estimated to be 10,000 boa, and pythons that had been purchased as pets, out grew the family when babies came along, released into the swamps of South Georgia, and Florida. That number is now estimated to be as many as 90 - 190,000 big squeezers. Sill want to swim in the fresh waters down there. Also, at about the same time a pretty big shark ate a boy that swam in a stream in New Jersey... About 13 miles inland. Might want to just go grizzly bear hunting with a bow and arrow. Lots safer.🐻🦈🇺🇸

Seriously foolish and inconsiderate to others who were consonerned for thier safty. It would be a sad day to see someone fall to their death.

Martha, it wasn't the devil. Such horned serpents do exist, and they can grow to outlandish sizes, with an abundance of food. Some - maybe all snakes have a lower jaw that is hinged. A python not even as big as an anaconda can easily swallow a man

Sturgeons are famous for the Caviar made from their eggs. Unfortunately, you must slice them open to harvest the eggs. Recently, however, harvesters have turned into Sturgeon Surgeons, carefully handling them and slicing them open, harvesting the eggs, then sewing them back up again and returning them to the water.
