Technically, he’s the pumpkin king, but I don’t think that’s an actual royal title in Halloweentown since they have a mayor. But in all likelihood Jack’s celebrity status would probably protect him from prosecution anyway.

Why does Jack Skellington get a Death Sentence and a Life Sentence? He is literally the hero and main character of the film. He is not a villain. He wasn't committing terrorism because he didn't know the toys would attack children and he didn't make the toys. Mass trespassing doesn't count because he is trying to be Santa Clause, and Santa is supposed to go to people's houses on Christmas Eve. He was only trying to help Christmas, and he didn't know that the toys would or could attack children because he didn't make them. Jack Skellington is the main character/protagonist and is NOT A VILLAIN! Why does Beetlejuice get a death sentence for witchcraft? He is literally a ghost/dead guy so it doesn't count. The Maitlands asked him to be scary so he did that. The Maitlands asked him to be scary and he made that face. Beetlejuice is NOT A VILLAIN, he is an ANTI-HERO. Nah, he still died from the poison. Considering he had an entire glass of it, he couldn't have saved himself that easily unless he had an antidote and she didn't have it on her. Since he had the time to hack her to pieces before succumbing to the venom and die as well, I'd say it should count as a homicide as well, the reason being revenge.
