Wow. Not only do I love this cover, as you guys nailed it. But depending on the people who gather for it, I now wonder how it would go, if you were to play this song, even if it’s your cover or if it’s the original version by Nickelback, if you were to play this song at a funeral, I wonder how it would go, considering that not everyone is a fan of Nickelback. And well, it may not be, for a long time. But I hope that the day I die, and I hope to die an old man, I would really love, for this song, to be played at my funeral in the future, because I want to remind everyone who I know and love in my life, and all of that, goes for family and friends, if today was your last day, and tomorrow was too late, what would you do in your final 24 hours, if you only had one day of your life, left to live? Think about it, and then tell me, because if you have had people who pissed you off in your life, and if there are people who you have pissed off from before, would you wanna let them know that you regret all the times that you have pissed each other off? Because we also have to remember one important thing, and that is, that at the end of the day, nobody is perfect, we all make mistakes, we all have flaws, and the most important thing, is that at the end of the day, we are all human, and we are all learning, from the mistakes we have made in the past, and we move on to whatever comes next. But the other thing is, after time passes, and if it will have been a while, if we make that same mistake again, it’s fine, because it would have been a while. But other than that, when we all make mistakes, who are we to judge other people, when they make mistakes like the rest of us do? Are they perfect, just like you and me? No, they are not. And also, are they also human, just like you and me? Yes, they are. So, where does that leave those people? Where does that leave you or me? As long as we all figure it out, then that’s fine. And again, if any of us had only 24 hours left to live, what would we all do in those final 24 hours of our lives, before we are all dead? This is also why I thought about playing this song, hopefully at my funeral one day. But I don’t know. I guess that, only time will tell.
