This is a pretty bad take. Cube technology has exploded in recent years. Max may have had “better” solves years ago that simply didn’t time as fast due to the cube technology. Put Yiheng on the same cubes as everyone else 5 years ago and he wouldn’t break the top 5. Not saying that he isn’t a top tier cuber. He is either #1 or #2 fastest. Just that your argument is pretty bad and has a very obvious flaw. It may have taken others years to reach the same point but give them the same cubes as Yiheng has today and they would have reached it years ago.
