Jacob Brandt actually I disagree. They are emo aesthetically and their melodies are pretty emo, but lyrically they have way more depth than most emo music. They talk about mental illness with a seriously uplifting message instead of romanticizing it or making it seem like a deep or beautiful thing. They make comments on culture as a whole with a genuine goal to make others think, rather than relish in how depressed they are.

If you like twenty one pilots, then you might like our music as well! We're hugely inspired by them, AJR, Panic! at the Disco, and others.
