I played Legacy Isle a while back and have only tried out Evrima when it first came out. It's not the most noob-friendly game, but we managed to grow our dilos to adulthood without dying once! I would never lie!

The tiniest amount of night vision after all that work killed me. ☠️ I always had soooo much fun with The Isle, going back to the Legacy times even. I’ve played this version for quite a while too, but the amount of bugs at that time were too big. I think the game is gorgeous, movement and combat of dinosaurs looks stunning, lighting, quality etc is fantastic. It has giant potential, but for now I’ll stick to PoT and loving that. 😊 Thanks for another great video!!!

I haven't played The Isle in a while - I still have a soft spot for this game. Legacy was just the best thing to come home to after school, lol. I really hope that Evrima can eventually live up to the promises that developers make. 🦕 I'm just glad we have alternative dinosaur games to play and look forward to when it comes to their development - no matter how frustrating it can be 😅

With PoT I can hop on a modded server and in the same amount of time it'd take me to grow one dino on the isle, I can grow every dino in PoT if I wanted to lol. I don't have to spend hours grinding every dino I wanna try out. And I like the list menu that PoT has for your dinos too

Literally the only objectively bad idea they had for the game was the new camera system and they ended up not going trough with it. But outside of needing the usual fixes to bugs and performance the game is in a really good state at the moment.

The real objective description is "unfinished" or "under development" and the game obviously has way more to it than just looks, it has a variety of complex mechanics, many of them being original ideas that have never been done in dinosaur games before which is the reason why the game has many problems in the first place, hence why none of it's competitors try doing the same, because if they did they'd face the same issues.

I know they removed venom from juvie dilo for balancing reasons but dammit it makes growing a dilo so damn difficult, though I guess it is fair because it is pretty strong once it reaches adulthood, nothing in the game a good dilo player can't solo. 5:25 Also when this happens, biting the body tends to fix it. 21:38 Another advice, NEVER drink there, you WILL be eaten, if you don't wanna bother with leaving the area entirely run down the river for a while so you're at least out of the middle of the hotspot. Because that's the one of the two places where you are guaranteed to find deinos, the other place is the one lake they spawn in.

I play The Isle (Evrima) and PoT. Many people are obssessed with pitting them against each other, but I enjoy both for different reasons. The self imposed rivalry between players that play one over the other is irritating and unnecessary, just have fun! Originally when I tried PoT, I disliked it, but after joining an unofficial server that suited me and giving it another shot, I found the appeal. :)

Honnêtement, j'ai toujours était proche de The isle, j'ai adorer et j'aime toujours ce jeu. Quand j'ai tester Path of titans pour la première fois j'était impressionner et j'ai vite accrocher au jeu...jusqu'à que je me confronte à la communauté qui à été une catastrophe pur et dur. Entre le spawn kill, se faire tuer H24 par des random alors que tu est un bébé, le mix packing qui est une horreur sans nom et les gens qui s'insulter tout le temp à n'importe quelle heures de la journée juste horrible ! Le jeu est bien, mais la communauté ne les pas. En tout cas de mon coter et sur les serveurs officiel/communautaire. The isle s'est améliorer est devenus bien plus amusant qu'auparavant, le jeu bénéficie d'une vraie immersion et pas se contenter de ramasser des glands et des champignons pendant 2 heures. J'aime jouer à Path of titans seul ou entre amis sur des serveurs privée mais plus jamais en multi. Tout ça pour dire que les deux jeu sont bien mis j'ai une préférence tout de même et une très bonne vidéo aussi ! ps: Désoler du pavé et en Français lol

i have a love hate relationship w the isle and currently am on a break from it, bc of the many bugs and hard gameplay (honestly got a hard time getting behind the mechanics) but i do wonder if Grana will try other Dino games inbetween the regular pot videos, it would be really fun seeing them play BoB ( Beast of Bermudas) or another Evirma video sometime in the future :D as i really enjoy and laught at the animated jokes and format of funny clips

Ah, the usual argument. PoT players can't handle actual combat and needs to play a "dinosaur" game that gets carried by mods, 70% of them aren't even dinos, and can't handle that a hyper realistic dinosaur game doesn't give back progress when you die because (this might be a shocker) death is death. On the other end, the isle players have a superiority complex and can't handle critics at all, even though they themselves criticize the game the most. They can't comprehend the fact that some players like modded games that don't take as much effort, or isn't as punishing. My point is both games are good with things they out-do each other in. I play/watch both games, and seeing the fanbases fight over this is honestly kinda funny because at the end of the day, everyone is spending hours growing a dino only to die, rage, and start all over later. Like suck it up and get along 😭

The Isle is certainly a different beast from it's Legacy days! Personally I'm not a big fan of PoT, but I'm glad others enjoy it. I'm just not a big fan of how...laid back it is? I actually prefer the more unforgiving nature of The Isle. That being said, The Isle is certainly in an interesting place right now. Lots of bugs to iron out, balance adjustments, features that need to be added, and so on. Apparently they plan on making some of kind of tutorial once the basic features are considered complete, since doing it now would mean they might need to redo them with each major update.

I totally understand your POV! When I first learned that PoT doesn't have permadeath, I hated the idea, and to this day, I don't get the same feeling of survival like in Isle Legacy that I really liked. But on the other hand, I really like how in PoTs fights often last long, and not losing everything on death allows me to try 'stupid' fights more. And I never have to afk😅 I do really hope that someday PoT has more survival elements to make it a little more challenging

I remember when Isle was playable. and fun. i still maintain that it looks visually stunning but gameplay.. big oof. i can even see the game anymore the devs made it so dark. coz F ppl with bad vision, right? gamma used to my solution to just be able to SEE where i was going, not to exploit anything. but cant even do that now. rip Isle. a very funny video! i loved the cera just coming over to look at you in concern.

You can still gamma exploit, one of my friends does it all the time currently
