I’m struggling bad. My body changed drastically in the last two years, health and medications. I didn’t fit a single item of clothing I owed. I donated it all, and am Slowly I’n the process of figure out how to style my “new body”. Keeping the items I have basic is the only thing making it so I actually get out of my Pjs ❤️

These are all really great tips! I love that they don’t cater to any specific style or item. It’s a very practical checklist for anyone to go through! I would love to know if you have a wish list of things that you would like to try and are looking for. I have a wish list I keep in mind and on my phone and I really only look for those things when I go shopping anymore. It’s very difficult at thrift stores! But I discipline myself and stick to it. I also subcategorize my standards for those items by material, fit preference, budget, etc. Recently, I finally found my mid tone dusty blue blazer that checked all of my boxes and I have been wearing it often and feeling so good in it! It seems you are looking for formal/occasion wear for events. Are you still looking for a minimal-style, black leather backpack?

Great video Val.... I totally agree with everything you said. I know you don't feel good wearing a lot of black, but black seems to be my power color...my "super heroine" outfit is a black pair of jeggings with a black T shirt with my black and white canvas sneakers.... when I'm wearing that outfit, I feel like I can leap tall buildings in a single bound.... I feel very confident and unstoppable. 😊

Hi Val, just recently I was thinking I needed new black heels/pumps for formal occasions and had this on my wishlist, then my girls decided to try on my wedding dress and one of them went through my shoes and found a black pair of heels that I had forgotten about, lol, we all had a lot of fun and I found out I already had the shoes I wanted 😄

Do you color your hair or does it change depending on your lighting? I ask because in some clips your hair looks substantially darker. My hair color changes throughout the week, depending on what I wear or my surroundings 🤣. It’s weird. It can be dark ashy blonde, brown, red, dark brownish red 😂!! I also like to keep my hair in a similar cut.

I don't dye my hair, its all natural 😁 I did dye it for a while when I was younger though... And yeah it can look lighter and darker depending on the light! 💁‍♀️
