I am certainly not Tygem 3d, but I saw the solution of the second problem immediately because I had been doing a lot of tsumego that included solutions "under the stones". Great problems!

The first problem was composed by 조치훈 (Cho Chikun) IIRC. I solved it, but I have seen it before a few years ago, which probably helped...

In the first problem, at the end of the solution diagram (at 7:27), can’t white technically save the corner stones in ko by playing P19 immediately, then sacrificing the 3 outside stones after black cuts? It’s a bad result for white, but the problem stated black to capture the corner stones. 🙂

Oddly, I did better with the first problem (the 7 Dan problem) than I did with the "easier" second problem (3 Dan). Neither one of them did I solve, I just came closer to solving the first one.

By the way, at 6:30, couldn't white sacrifice the three middle stones and save the corner with ko? W:L18, B:M16, W:M19, B:N15, W:P19, B:O15, W:Q18, and white's corner is out with a ko. In a real game, I would consider it bad for white but black didn't kill the corner.

Why not play p14 first? That would allow you to put more pressure on the 016 group, creating a running fight you can use to capture the group easier

Its Tsumego, solutions that include running fights that run off the board are usually not correct.

There is no way a 3d Tygem can read an under the stone problem (for the second problem). I would more put it at 6d level.
