If you could pick any motorcycle what would it be? Here is my choice from In2moto in Warrington. The Royal Enfield super meteor 650 is not only a great bike but it’s one that means a lot to me and this KZbin journey that I’m on. Have a look around. Then let’s go for a ride. I will try to convince you that you need a cruiser. Also I will let you know how I started my KZbin channel and what happened which really improved the number of videos that I put out.

You have captured the very reasons why I ride a Honda Rebel. Chilled ride, sporty when needed, 70 odd to the gallon and (in my case) lots of black detailing 😃

It’s what cruisers were made for. I feel more at home on them. Slower speeds, comfortable, and I love the looks.

Cracking bike that. A topic I think you could cover that never gets addressed by other KZbinrs is bike storage. I’d love a bike again but only have an apartment, no safe parking facilities. Must be loads of people in this situation. I looked up a storage container place in Warrington and they wanted, I kid you not, £140 a month. Love your vids btw, keep them coming. 👍😊

I am in the mind of opening such a place, safe, secure, heated, electric hook-up for optimate leads... what would you deem a reasonable amount for a month? possibly weekly? minimum storage a week or a month?

Thanks. Thats a shocking amount to charge for storage. Definitely a business opportunity for someone opening something cheaper.

@@teamtempest844 I think it could be a good business opportunity. I’m guessing on my wages I’d be able to afford £50-£60 a month, long term contract.

@Gracey64 Yeah I had 50 in mind, that's 600 a year, example 25 bikes 15,000. Viable as I already have storage space and my own bikes and stuff are there, but by the time people have enquired, actually paid via DD without being messed around, having to chase people, provided V5c, ID and proof of ownership then now its GDPR... insurances, maybe a staff member, possibly 3rd party security patrolling at night... perhaps a whole barn would be better to accommodate more space, possible conversion to two floors... outside caravan storage... same issues... accessible at reasonable hours etc... seems a lot of hassle dealing with the general public for that amount. I'll have a think though, thank you.

I figured that's how it happened with In2Moto, and I have to say how fortunate they are to have you. But aside from all the blowing of smoke arsewards, I love the Super Meteor though I've gotta say it's between that & the Shotgun for me. Great bikes, regardless of their budget focus.

Thank you. I like the shotgun as well. I really enjoyed my day with that. Money not being a deciding factor it would be difficult to pick one over the other.

Im 6000 miles in on my super meteor. No issues, very comfortable. Been in places gs owners would fear to tread. Very solid and well made it will sit at 70 all day. Only negative, the chain is shit, i replaced it with a better quality one after it was done at 5k.

I too would take the Super Meteor. I have a Meteor 350 and love the riding position but..... I've just bought a new tractor and times are hard down on the farm I still have the first Enfield I bought in 2007. My 350T

Adventure bikes are the “do it all” bikes. In a perfect world I would have 1 cruiser, 1 adventure bike, one sports, 1 naked sports, 1 classic, 1 off road and 1 of anything I’ve missed 😂

I prefer to chill out these days due to age & health on low capacity bikes ( 125 to 250cc ) but the cruiser style is far too chilled out for me . The foot forward foot controls feel weird wrong to me , & the alternative feet forward maxi twist & tip maxi scoots just cause me to fall asleep on motorways & the A55 . I reckon the best chill out bikes are the RE classic 350 , Suzuki van van or Honda step thru cub style bikes . 😎👍

I used to think the same with cruisers. I bought one years ago without testing it first. It took me a while of riding it before I got my head around it. At first it felt like my balance was off. Once you get used to them they are brilliant

I would say that unless you ride in a showroom or on a dyno the showroom or the spec sheet is a poor way to choose. If it makes you happy it's right for you. I have a Harley FXDL made 10/98. 1450 twin cam. It's not rusty or for sale. I paid £7500 for it with 24k miles, still has paper labels inside the fenders. Don't know if a Vincent would make me more happy but I've never had those ducks in a row.

I think the older HD’s are better. It’s the new ones I’ve seen the issues with. I would love another one. I just wouldn’t buy a new one.

@GillyBikes it doesn't make sense to buy new. It's important to be realistic about what it's going to cost all in,more so if it's being financed with interest. Don't spend the whole budget on the bike and choose to ignore the reality of parts, servicing,gear etc. It's going to need work and is a costed liability not an investment. The cost to your health of playing safe is also a gamble.

Speaking of HD,I had a fatboy for 11 months never seen rain always garaged. Both wheels started tarnishing, paint coming off the engine and speedo had water in it could not read lcd screen. Gave back to HD.

It’s shocking how poor quality the new HD’s are. It’s such a shame. So much money for so many issues.
