From a simple minded and thinking man’s perspective, Gen 4 : 7 is revealing the true course of action, the product of our creation yet to be. Locked within our DNA is ability to rule over sin, and the only stumbling block preventing ourselves from doing this is lack of knowledge (of truth)

Its the blood god required for them to bring blood sacrifice thats why it was rejected ether way cain knew better that's the point of it

who does well? who doesn't have a sin nature? this doesn't imply cain can do well, since this is based on the assumption on God having a man's notion of fairness.

The ground was cursed, which is why God didn't accept Ables' sacrifice. Also, i would like to add that when God accepted the grain offering, it was after the flood when God removed the curse on the land.
