Everyone knows about Matthew 7 and how Jesus said that only those that do the will of the Father will go to heaven, but they don't know their Bible very well so they just assume it means you have to work when that is not at all what the verse is saying. John 6:40 tells us what the will of the Father is. Repentance meaning i confess and ask forgiveness of my sins ,and that I have genuine faith that through Christ i can be forgiven. Then I believe I'm saved . Of course during repentance it is a change of heart and mind as well .Proof of true repentance will lead to good works . I recognise works is important. @TheBoldChristian It's true but the apostles went around the world preaching the gospels and the first church was the Catholic church, I'm not Catholic by the way I am a Christian I am trying to do more research.

I don’t believe you don’t need to be baptized to be saved, being baptized is simply a public declaration of your salvation don’t get me wrong its great to be baptized and I recommend it, everything else is right thank you for this video!

@@matyahm.i4899Yes but think about the thief on the cross who put their faith in Jesus, and knew he was the Lord, Jesus said “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise” yet he was never baptized. “that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9. I believe what Jesus was referring to with being born with the water refers to the living water which Jesus talked about to the women at the well!

@@TheBoldChristian I must be honest, you are kind of discrediting the blood of Christ by saying you must be baptized to be saved, your making baptism like a work then a public declaration Ephesians 2:8-9: For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- not by works, so that no one can boast. And it is wrong to say that believing that baptism isn't required means your lost, and in Mark it says, "Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned." See the comma? it doesn't say Believe AND be baptized it only says to Believe! If baptism were required, then the thief on the cross wouldn’t have been saved, and Paul wouldn’t have said, “Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel” (1 Corinthians 1:17). And if you were required to be baptized to be saved so your sins are washed away, not only does that completely discredit the sacrifice of Jesus which I explained earlier but that would technically mean every time you sin & stumble you must be baptized again, because to your perspective Jesus' blood isn't enough for you.
