As a military vet,especially after having into seve again in another war ( after 911) I kept seeking him,asking for guidance as I decided on intervening with a couple of younger soldiers who attempted suicide,they only punished,I stepped in, defended them with area defense against jag,to make a stand,every life to God is valuable,it's why on shios,commercial airplanes that go down, they say( how many souls onboard) w3nt down.why it's isn't in the military,I don't get it.i knew God sent me in there specifically for to fight for those souls especially after the suicides of a mental health dr there and a young girl just fresh from basic training.i made a stand for God to follow what he was showing me as I begged him for direction.i was threatened by many there for doing that,I no longer cared what they did to me.i would do it again

How are you doing now? I agree, fasting is insanely helpful to empower your spirit again. I know it’s not fun at first, but the spiritual blessings you’ll gain from it are so worth it! Also, it’s really hard to backslide when your mind is constantly on the knowledge of how amazing, beautiful and loving God is. When you have even the smallest taste of His love, no one needs to remind or encourage you to keep pursuing Him, it naturally happens. None of us, including me, are strong enough on our own to walk in holiness and avoid sin because we still have our flesh, but all things are possible with God. Remember, He is your friend. He wants to help you, guide you, encourage you, and teach you all you need to know.

I really needed to hear this dear because this is exactly what im going thru and feeling right now. this is one of the worse dry spells ive ever gone thru and its scary. i so need a breaktru and soon. i never thought id see a time where i have a hard time praying, almost like its a chore and i GOT to pray and get it over with. This mini teaching was excellent and SO NEEDED today, especially in charismatic circles that put so very much emphasis on happy, fuzzy feelings in the presence of God. As Pastor Vlad says, feelings don't require faith and, "without faith it is impossible to please God". As he also points out, the goal of our relationship with God is more to please HIM, not us. Persevering in dry, "wilderness" times is one thing, but even more faith is required when being asked to trust the Lord in times of unexplained tragedy. Grab hold of Bible promises with all your strength and immerse yourself in the Word of God to safely pass through to the other side. Don't be addicted to happy feelings and blessings because they may disappear completely for a season.

I have been struggling getting into prayer. I feel guilty for sitting in my chair, like I'm not respecting God. I have problems with my knees and I have lost feelings in one of my leg legs, so sit. I pray but I feel guilty because I'm not on my knees. I love the Lord, I really do. I have gotten on my knees and I struggle to get up, sometimes I have to call my daughter to help me get up off the floor. I think if I get on my knees God will heal my leg and knees. I have health issues and mental issues. I am a 54 yo white American male. I LOVE GOD. I LOVE JESUS CHRIST. I pray to GOD many times but I have to force it to do it. If that makes sense. Day to day I go thru many moments of nodding out ( falling asleep many times in a day.) My mind is very cloudy and confused many times. My doc says I have narcolepsy which is nothing you see in movies with it. I try so hard to read my Bible and praying to GOD. How ever I find it hard to do because I have to work exceedingly hard to pray and read. Any more I watch your videos and many more other people on you tube. Not always successful however. Please prayfor me and my family. We need prayer.

This came to me at a perfect moment in my walk and prayer life with the Lord. You said it perfectly, teacher. The way you explained this did not make me feel bad about my lacking God’s ( feeling) his presence it actually brought enlightenment on the picture. Hello pastor Vlad, I am an 18 year old from Kerala, India I really really want to thankyou for truly leading me to Christ(I was born as a Christian but never really knew about how important it was to lead a life of purity). My family believes so strongly in God. So I was also brought up like that. I used to go to church every Sunday (Jacobite) and attend Sunday school classes, I even scored high marks for their exams. Right from the beginning, I knew about Jesus and the miracles that Jesus had performed. I have read some main parts of the Holy Bible. But I could never really believe in it. Actually my logical self never allowed me to. I always wanted to experience God, just like Thomas wanted to see the risen Lord. I know I am no way near to be compared to Thomas' desires. But that was all a 16 year old trying to believe in God could think of. I wanted to experience God to believe deeply in him. In India so many crimes happen and innocent people get killed tragically. So I was always doubtful about God. I couldn't imagine of a merciful God who could let his children suffer so bad like this. And then my sister(20 years) asked me to watch your you tube videos out of no where. Initially I didn't feel anything magical. But after few days, on 21st December 2022, I thought I'd watch some more of your videos just to see what my sister is always talking about and by the curiosity of why she's so much interested in your sermons(the ones about dating, self control, Submitting to the Lord's will, and many more).So that afternoon I simply looked up your sermons and in one video you were praying for the people watching you online for being delivered form all evils. I don't know how I got glued to your sermons. I felt tears roll down my cheeks. I felt God's presence!!! Still my family couldn't believe how I got myself to read the Holy Bible and talk about God so passionately. Because I always used to question everything and looked up for logic in everything that believers used to say. I have seen several pastors and I was always against them because they were all after money, they preach one day about humility of Jesus, the next day they would be seen drunk in some airport and living a luxurious life. But what made me stick to your teachings was the fact the that you try your level best to practise what you preach! You were able to donate your whole saving for the the Lord once(that did shock me),you are able to talk to us openly about your mistakes and insecurities with us and how you have overcome them with the power of the Lord. You are truly a man of God! I love your wife too! Her peace is really awesome! and like wise I started feeling God's presence and I used to spent time reading the bible, hearing devotional songs, asking God to forgive my sins and mainly I prayed to him to guide me. Because I could feel a sense of belonging, peace and purpose which I have never experienced in my life! Today my class 12 CBSE results were out and God gave me top results that were far far ahead than what I have Imagined. I got full A1(top 1/8th of the passed candidates)in all subjects. 95/100 for Physics, chemistry and mathematics And 94/100 for English. Definitely it was never 'only because of my efforts', I still remember my Maths teacher complaining about my low scores to my Mom during parents meeting. She would have never expected me to score above 80 marks. I can say for sure that the it was God's guidance in my life that helped me achieve this result, that helped me to get over my distractions, that gave me the strength to work hard! So If anyone is reading this comment, I want you to know that you will one day experience God's presence if you are truly in pursuit of it. Live a life of purity and faith. Dedicate at least 30 minutes everyday to spend time with God. Try writing letters to God everyday telling him about your worries and most importantly tell him that you love the lord and wish to follow him and his teachings, ask him for the strength to face all the difficulties in life. Follow Jesus, and the rewards that he will give you is far more than you can ever imagine! He has his Kingdom in heaven. Don't wander around for earthly pleasures, but pursue him and he will take care of your earthly needs and give you eternal life! "If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for my sake will find it- Mathew 16: 24-36 I wish I could call you Vlad and talk about a lot of things as well. I don't know how to. Maybe when I'm old enough, I would one day come to Hungry Gen. Grateful to the Lord, for finding me at my worst and helping me to become a better person every single day, for wonderfully working through my life, for turning a sinner to a woman of God!

My question is will He still reward us even if we sin? I seek God for so long, I seek healing for so so long. My disease is dictating my life. I have a problem with lust. I never know if He keeps His blessings from me because I still sin and struggle with sin. I want to be healed so bad. I've been sick for 21 years and for 10 years already it's very bad. I wonder how long till I receive healing. I have prayed, people have prayed for me but there is still no answer, no improvement. A lot of pain and suffering. I am so exhausted from this. A while ago I was even questioning if God was real because I felt abondened by Him. I know He's real but it's getting so hard to keep going...
