The way dialogue is written is amazing but what's more amazing is how you pronounce it. Couldn't stop laughing. Flashbacks to the Mola that wanted to roll the tombola

This game is a hidden gem. Much easier start with the swordsman than with the gunner btw. You can get a remote detonator for the bombs. Until you have that, just always put them on the ground and bomb your way down. If you hit the shopkeeper, he goes after you with a shotgun, but all his items can be just picked up. Got the shopkeeper card today.

25:10 Makes sense that enemies attack you less frequently when you are deadz,maybe because of your inability to feel pain when dead, but that's unknowm.

That Shroom Shack was almost certainly a reference to the Toad house's from Super Mario Bros. 3. The design is pretty much identical with 3 chests, a mushroom guy on the right and a door to exit on the left.

If you want to go completely insane with another Spelunky-like, there is Towerclimb. It is LOOOONG however. Not the best to make videos on... Anyway, i am glad you are enjoying Spirits Abyss! It is a funky game.

Yeah it’s definitely one of those things they shoulda taught somewhere lol. That screen is pretty hidden. You have to hit the middle left of your controller. Middle right is just the pause menu.

I came to say this! So if anyone is still confused - “ma bonce” = “my head” It’s still used quite regularly, at least it is in Yorkshire, where I’m from!
