This is a really tough message but I had to share it. Don’t fall in love too fast, because the truth is when you fall in love too fast, it’s not love. Let me explain, nothing good in our lives ever comes from falling. They say love is blind because the only time we fall is when we're blinded. When you fall in love too fast you think you know their dreams, but you just know their plans. You think you know their heart, but you just know their mind. You think you know their past, but you just know parts. Let the right person show you that they're the right person. Don't just give away your trust, let someone earn it. I know what it's like, it feels amazing to fall for someone quickly, that adrenaline rush. But why would you want to fall for someone that you don't know, is going to be there to catch you? We don't just find a huge tree with beautiful fruits and flowers overnight. It takes time. No matter how much you water it, it takes time. No tree overnight has the most beautiful flowers and fruits. And so neither can a relationship. It takes time. Because remember, you can't eat the fruit the same day you plant the seed. And on the flip side, don't make someone fall in love with you, if you don't know how to love them or if you don't love them back. Don't give someone enough reasons to love you if you don't feel in the same way for them. Because guess what - they won't end up questioning you, they end up questioning love. And I'm trying to say this for your own benefit. I want you to have incredible, meaningful, purposeful relationships, but I want them to be real, I want them to be genuine. Because being in love isn't a mood, it's a commitment even after your mood changes.

I don't think the romantic type of love is special. And I am started to think that the romantic type of love isn't real. I mean about more than half of romantic couples either break up with each other or divorce each other, while most platonic best friends remain friends until death. I think that having a platonic best friend is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse is. Having someone who's like a sibling to you is a lot better than having a romantic partner or spouse. Also, you are more likely to be much more closer to someone who's like a brother or sister to you than you would be with a romantic partner or spouse. People tend to fight with their partner or spouse a lot more than they do with a platonic best friend, and you never fight with your best friend the way you fight with your partner or spouse. Partners and spouses are just temporary. If you break up or divorce them, it's hard to go back to them. With your platonic best friend, you're going to make things work, because they are your best friend, they are your go to partner. It's always easier to make amends with them than it is with a romantic partner or spouse.

I'll be 54 and so far a definition of love is trust, acceptance, respect. There will be that period of elation, magnetism or chemistry I've tended to go with this I know what's happening and my challenge he's not the twin flame. I found out what that was and I also know that there is only one in your/my life. Learning much about 2 people have 2 different minds and 2 different memories, that's just a fact. My answer finally, and that suffering was over. So I know I won't have another Joe, a twin flame, I know my hard heart wrenching experiences are with me to show, 'You alone can take care of you better than anyone." And time is the most valuable over money, relationships, I spent 53 years wondering why I didn't feel loved. And finding I'd never want that kind of person to love me. So now I treat my life and body and mind with efforts that show me I"m important and my time on earth is important. When someone comes along I'm okay to spend my time with him. And when you become to have it on the inside, there's no loneliness looking for someone to make, make you happy. That does not happen. You can do that, and you can do it over and over again, no one can take that from you. It's yours, you carry it with, bottle it and take it out like blue-eyed sunshine.
