It is my blessing that Rinpoche's guru told him to teach. May I be able to follow his example.

The Dalai Lama is not so “pure“ as is propagated. A look into his past and dealings in the political Theater will show a different side.

Its true; he recently congratulated trmp and proclaimed the us to be upholders of democracy. I already began to question his role as dali lama when there was no word on the immense sufferings of p.lestinians; no word on how to remain spiritually grounded in light of the mind breaking violence we are witnessing. But when he made that official proclamation (to be seen on his website) I knew the meaning of the known phrase, “if you meet Buddha on the road, kill him”. We must be able to apply our critical thinking on everyone including ourselves and our leaders. It is only through clear thinking that we will know enlightenment and as painful as it is to lose role models no figure should be idolized in favor of comfort of habit. I still believe in dharma and see this as separate to figures and so called leaders. In the end the dharma is upon ourselves to practice

Buddha said no such thing that all people's suffering was due to their karma
