Ohh I was so happy when you mentioned video game development. I am a game developer myself and as soon started talking about the definition of multipotentialites I immediately thought - oh this sounds like people who would be ideal for working in indie game development, hehe :D Because there are so many different things you can do, designing, art, programming, music, marketing, writing... So I guess I learned a new word to describe myself.

Nice! I was gonna ask you to elaborate more and then saw you channel is all about it :) Definitely subscribed! You should keep making videos!! We need more channels about multipassionate people!

In college, I struggled with vastly different career ideas so much (concert promotion, volcanology, art director...). I ended up choosing to be an elementary school teachers which has been pretty fulfilling. It became more fulfilling as a GT Specialist. It lets me tickle my many interests at work and provides challenge. I do get tired, but I have gotten pretty good at sneaking in habits to help balance my interests.

Yeah that was my big problem as a young adult, I had so many different ideas of what I wanted to do it seemed like a curse to have to pick just one :( (volcanology sounds super cool though!) I chose to go into education at some point, too! I think the job itself has a lot of variety. I hope it's not too exhausting for you :) I'd love ot know some of your habits you've snuck in!

thanks for sharing about this book and your opinions on it, great information! I both watch and upload a lot of videos related to personal development and book reviews, but have never thought about specialist versus generalist

Very interesting and easy to follow, thank you 🙏 I always feel I should not do so many different things, but I really get bored when I do less.

EXACTLY! Sometimes when I overload myself with things I want to do, I think, man I wish I could just focus on one, but when I actually do it then I'm thinking, man I wish I had more to do, bahaha

Thank you so much! I took several tips to apply. Excellent video, Genie :D. (Besides, apart from the fact that you are inspiring, you seem very friendly and your tone of voice is calm, so the video is super nice/enjoyable/agreeable/lighthearted to watch!). 🙌🏻
