To be completely honest with you If I ran into something like that. I would stop going to that lake, even if I had a gun. The person or thing that did that could be hiding in the trees or behind the trees, so Nope nope nope nope I would rather be alive than get my head removed. I kinda need that to keep on running away from scary stuff. I’m a little disappointed in her parents to be honest, if my kid goes alone to a forest I’m giving them the biggest lecture about safety in numbers. If you live out in the middle of nowhere especially, it makes stuff worse. The only things out in the woods are hunters, people who are not so good in the head, or nightmares given flesh. There is always truth to myths and legends, with the progress of human civilization we pushed these things away. We have developed things that can hurt these things, from guns and bombs. So the creatures fade into obscurity, then when we do run into them again, they terrify us to pure blood chilling like we can no longer observe these creatures that are nightmare made flesh. We have lived for so long in civilization, that it has made us question old things and doubt the validity of them. I just have to follow the old myths and legends, I will never doubt them. There is always a grain of truth in them.
