I have my own experience with hearing a bell at night in the forest....when I got out of the military, I spent 6 months working on a ranch outside Whitefish, Montana. While there i spent alot of time cross country skiing, climbing and camping in the Bob Marshall Wilderness. One weekend I took off by myself with plans on camping that night and then climbing this mountain on the continental divide the next morning. That night it dropped to -8 F with an snow/rain/sleet mixture. while curled up in my tent I kept hearing footsteps and a bell ringing sounding like it was circling my camp area. It would come and go for minutes at a time almost the entire night.....being alone it was pretty creepy.. it really felt like I was being stalked so i slept with a glock 21 right next to me. Early next morning maybe 430am, I got out of the tent, ate, packed up and headed towards the mountain. Not a quarter mile down the trail i hear that same damn bell....I look over and to my horror............................. it was a fucking cow that had obviously gotten separated and was just walking around grazing the spots where grass was still coming out of the snow.🤣🤦♂️

There are no unnaturally moving giants in the woods as giants were hybrids, who were destroyed. Also tall humans are usually clumsy and they aren't so fast, unless it's sportsman. I'm like 99% that this was a demon who appeared in physical form and he purposefully made all that setup with beaver to scare that woman to death or posses her maybe. Right as I started to hike some more I heard the sounds of a large creature crunching the dry underbrush to the sound of the bell. As my adrenaline started really to kick up, a cow walked out from behind a tree. It gave me a sideways look and then its bell gave a merry little jingle as it bent down to eat a bit of wild grass. @@xposuregaming6084 Not saying the story is true or fake but......I'm guessing you've never heard of bad things happening on dark nights where it is also storming? That may be a fairly standard story trope but just because someone's story takes place on a dark and stormy night doesn't mean their story isn't true, doesn't make it true but that doesn't prove it's false. Basically all I am saying is the weather and time of day that something takes place isn't proof that it is real or fake. I tend to get feelings like I am being watched when I go outside my house at night and sometimes I even get the sensation that whatever is watching me means to do me harm. Sure enough I never see anything but there is an old saying "Just because you can't see something that does not mean it isn't there." so whenever I feel like something isn't right I either get back in the house immediately or if I am on my way to work in the very early morning (around 3:30am EST) I am jumping into my car and leaving. Whether it is just an errant feeling or something genuinely causing that kind of sixth sense reaction in me, I don't play around, I always take it seriously cause you never know when someday, somehow, something could actually happen. Heck I have had instances where I thought there was someone in the house who should not be here and I have walked slowly through the house, turning on every light as I went and armed with my FN 5.7 with a bright light in my other hand to potentially blind whomever is here. Sure enough each time there was never anyone here. Now I am not a paranoid person, I am not run by my emotions, so if something causes me to react as though I am not alone and potentially in danger, I don't mess around, better to be on guard and my senses be wrong then not be on guard and my senses be right. IN SHORT trust your senses, trust what they tell you even if nothing bad happens just be safe and give them the benefit of the doubt, it could save you.

Do not fear the bell in the woods fear the creature that answer it's call... For those who have never lived in desolate, rural places, let me explain what probably happened here. She encountered a poacher, specifically a fur trapper. The bell itself is a dead giveaway. Trappers are not trusted at all, and for good reason. Hunters kill to eat, but trappers usually kill for fur, or scent glands, or some other valuable part of the animal. Trapping is not only sadistic and cruel, it also wastes the meat. The adrenaline from the suffering in the trap makes the meat incredibly tough. This is one reason hunters, like my father, tend to dislike them. The other is that trappers are often dangerous loaners. Just like torturing animals leads to serial killing...trapping leads a person to begin to enjoy the sadism. Some trappers carry bells clipped to their belts. This is so they can clip the bell to the trap, and hear the bell ringing when an animal gets trapped. They also tend to wear furs to smell like an animal because their goal is to be stealthy and undetected in the forest. Bella saw a trapper in that meadow, with furs on, which is why her brain thought she was seeing an animal. Also, I think the beaver carcass was a lure. He may have been trying to trap an animal that preys on beavers, or lure in other beavers. I would guess he sewed the head back on to create a lure too, similar to putting up a plastic doe statue and spraying it with pheromones to lure a buck. Of course, he intentionally moved it near the stream, in her path, just to frighten her. We know that since it wasn't hanging there when she came through 30 minutes prior. In this case, I think this man was also a poacher. I don't have to tell you how dangerous poachers are. They often live in the woods they poach from, and have been known to do horrible things to anyone who happens to witness their poaching. I assume the t-shirt under a rock was his "good shirt" for going into town for supplies. I think he was chasing her because he decided to kill her. Maybe to silence her, maybe for his own twisted enjoyment. As for why an 18 year old girl was so determined to reach that lake, I think she stashed her weed at the lake or something. Maybe she got worried about it being found, or maybe she just wanted to smoke. It would explain her defying all logic to go after dark and in the rain storm, even after her previous unnerving experience. If it was a poacher out there trapping, her dad definitely saved her life that night.

Had a similar experience camping with some friends in a woods behind the house I grew up. We were camping and kept hearing this bell in the distance. First it was like "did you hear that" but it was off in the distance and just ringing occassionally. But over time we kept hearing it and it got louder, it was on one side of the campsite but then was moving around the woods coming from different directions. At first we thought it was someone playing a joke, and we yelled out into the woods and the bell stopped, but then started again later even closer. We looked out later and campfire was mostly out and shined flashlights into the woods and saw two big eyes shining in the dark staring back and this hulking dark mass. We were terrified. None of us got any sleep that night. The next morning we woke up to find a huge cow next to our campsite with a bell around her neck. She'd obviously gotten out from her pasture and had been eating the ferns that grew up and down the stream we had camped close to.

People like to laugh at warnings of psychos in woods but it a real thing. Is it as common as some other people would have you believe? no. But sometimes, psychopaths do live in the woods. I'd be willing to bet the person chasing this girl was an illegal poacher that was all about not getting caught and found out. The bell might have been a lure to a specific animal the poacher was trying to target, or it could've been to scare and intimidate people away.

I use to dread my son asking me for help and he cried wolf so much 😢- I started to ignore his calls-he’s 25 yrs old. I am so glad her parents didn’t ignore her. I am so glad Bella was okay. When I was a teenager, I loved going to places just like this. Who doesn’t love nature? It’s a shame we can’t enjoy it without being in danger, where we realize it or not.

During the summer I heard a bell in the forest beside me. Same distance from my house 2 miles away. Never heard it before, it's a vast forest, lived here 11 years, middle of nowhere (just like the video). Ireland BTW. It didn't sound like the bell in the video, this sounded like a slow dinging of an old school bell attached to a building. Two different days I heard it. My brother didn't hear it, but my senses are more alert than his. After hearing this story, I actually think I want to go and investigate once the weather gets better...during the day, too.

yeah I think this story is fake. It was believable at 1st but the "dead beaver that she just passed is now all of the sudden not only hanging, but has its head sewed back on was just unbelievable. The beaver was untouched when she passed it A WEEK later, and this person just happened to be watching her when she decided to come back to the forest A WEEK later and waited for her to pass the beaver before setting this elaborate spook. sure sure. Not to mention the protagonist is making some very dumb horror movie decisions that i can't see a logical person making. she been going to this forest for years she says, so she knows how long it takes to get to the lake and back(2 hours). sundown at 9pm- she leaves at 6pm. so what, you going to do all that walking just to sit ur ass down at a lake for 10-30 mins? Why you would even think about making this journey right now instead of the next day when you have plenty of time was already a red flag.

I found the part of the comment section that makes sense! I had heard about threads like these, but thought they were an internet legend .... They would have to be exceptionally well hidden cams. Probably planted when a swarm of hunters are in the area for the same purpose. Reduces the risk of camera placement being spotted. Perhaps secondary cams facing the main trail cams in case of tampering. Remember, it's a person, not an animal. They clearly know trail and bushcraft, are capable of higher thought, planning and patience. And if possible some IR equipment. Hard to hide heat signature if it's not expected. Most people don't cover themselves in mud frequently. Though as a hunter, the guy is probably aware of tricks like that for masking scent at the very least.
