The ending wasn’t just a twist-it was a full-circle nightmare. Christian’s wink will haunt me for days. Absolute perfection. 👁🍦

I love the fact that just a day after losing her child, she decided to tell a story about a childhood friend, and losing her child is just an afterthought

I was friends with a girlgrowin g up & we were pure he'll when we were together. Our parents even forbid us to be around each other by the time we were 15-16 completely. We had a blast when we were together for sure.

I feel sorry for this Mia, she seems to be in a lot of lockdowns.

Note to the author. Kids don't talk this way. I mean, c'mon, sacred? Visage? Hell, I don't even talk that way. Communicating your thoughts understandably and effectively is the best part of having an extensive vocabulary, not throwing out words that distract the reader and disrupt the narrative flow.

The narrative voice is Sarah as an adult with a husband and child who is recalling a childhood experience, as she just lost her own child to the ice cream truck. Next time listen to the end before ranting at the author. I think the author did a marvellous job.

Stop putting ads in the middle of a narration...it completely kills it
