It would be helpful to read in the New Testament to start off. If you read a Gospel to start off and then say - Genesis, I believe that it would bring some clarity. JESUS is predicted in the Old Testament, presented in the Gospels, explained in the Letters, and expected in the Revelation.

His Truth is Truth..no matter what order its His Truth..it's about His Love for humanity created in His image..we can't understand on a human level the depth of the Living Word of Jesus..go to the Bible and open it, open your heart and the Holy Spirit will speak to you..confusion is not from our Lord..the evil one loves to confuse and place any doubt in our minds..our mind is his playground..but you stay in the Word and Jesus will give you His unspeakable peace of knowing clearly..Jesus will give you His discernment..you'll know confusion and lies when you see or hear it..His protection from distractions for His Will for each every individual person..God Bless you on your journey of true Life with Him..
